Today we are proud to announce the addition of two RTS veterans to Serious Gaming / Team Razer, please join me in welcoming Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi to the team and in celebrating the return of Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi to our RTS division.

Protoss player NaNiwa (pictured) was a well known WarCraft III player in another life, the past few months he has been taking the StarCraft II scene by storm; winning an unprecedented three straight ZOTAC cups as well as two Go4sc2 ESL tournaments. The 20-year old Swede is obviously one of Europe's strongest players at the moment and we are looking forward to seeing where we can go together.

23-year old RotterdaM (Protoss) is a familiar name to any WarCraft III fan. He represented us in the game from 2007 to the beginning of this year, during his last few months with us another game was increasingly taking away his attention and he decided he wanted to focus on Heroes of Newerth instead of WarCraft III. We did not support the game and he was given the opportunity to lead a team for Fnatic, he decided to take that opportunity and we parted amicably. In the past few months however his focus has shifted to StarCraft II starting with the release of the beta and since we support StarCraft II there was nothing stopping us from continuing our previous relationship. RotterdaM is a former European champion in WarCraft III among many accomplishments and as recently as 2009 propelled The Netherlands to a second place at the European Nations Championship.

These two have history together as they used to play alongside each other in team Fnatic prior to RotterdaM joining Serious. Hopefully they can pick up where they left soon as we are likely about to enter two team leagues (more information on this when it is confirmed). Over a month ago we announced our StarCraft II division with three active (SonKiE, DaBoO and SushiLicious) and one inactive (viOlet) players. With the addition of these two gentlemen our full StarCraft II division currently consists off:

Nikolaus 'SonKiE' Cassidy - Terran
Dong Hwan 'viOlet' Kim (inactive) - Zerg
Lennart 'SushiLicious' Roest - Zerg
Patrick 'DaBoO' Bolleboom - Zerg
Kevin 'RotterdaM' van der Kooi (team captain) - Protoss
Johan 'NaNiwa' Lucchesi - Protoss
Jos 'Zerter' Buijvoets (team manager) - Protoss
Oskar 'Zubie' Rudberg (support) - Protoss

funny to see naniwa leaving mtw already. never liked the guy and this certainly only solidifies my judgement.

Was RotterdaM one of the guys who casted the GomTV WC3 stuff? They seemed like pretty knowledgeable players, so they'll presumably do good things in SC2 as well.

On the topic of WC3 players though, I want Moon to start playing SC2... Dude would be able to make Ultralisks fly and shit.

RotterdaM's one of the -personality wise- greatest players from WC3, well mannered, and did also great commentaries for the community, so it's nice to hear he's back in SC2, and I wish him the best in this game.

Rotterdam is awesome, but I cannot root for Naniwa, I have like never seen him play in wc3 (or sc2 the one time I saw) without him causing some sort of scene with his obnoxious antics, BM that constantly gets in the way of matches and disrupts games.

If you haven't followed wc3 basically he has about the worst reputation of anyone in the upper level scene.
Yeah, well, you know, that's just like, your opinion man
