On the Gamestop site it says if you select that option to allow 24 hours before going to your store to get the key.

I just drove up to EB Games. I was so excited. I was like a little kid on Christmas morning. I couldnt contain my excitement. I asked the lady behind the counter if the beta key deal was real. She says "Yes...... but I just sold the last one", as she points to the guy walking out the front of the store. FUCK MY LIFE. edit: I guess I can just call my parents up and ask to use their credit card since I dont have one, but that is a hassle since I have to get the money back to them.

Ya, I will have to locate a credit card asap. edit: Actually, fuck that. They want me to pay an additional 19.99 for shipping, and I wont be able to get the game in my hands the moment it goes on sale. No thanks.

No thanks. use the code 'saver' to not have to pay shipping... or pick 'in-store pickup' that way you get it day of release too

I will go try now. edit: Lame, everything costs $10 more in Canada even though our dollar is at par with the American dollar. edit: Still no option for in store pickup. None of those codes work on the Canadian website. Either I have to wait up to 10 days for the game after the release date, or I have to wait up to 3 days and pay an extra $9. Neither of those are appealing options. Back to the beta contests I go.

I ordered online, and selected to have it shipped to my "local" gamestop back at home, because a month from now I'll be back home, and that would be the easiest way for me to pick it up. Now I see that I have to go in-store to get my key if I'm selecting this option? I'm currently at University about 200 miles away from home. So how can I cancel this order and/or get the key sent to my email? I'll probably call the store at home tomorrow morning, and see what they can do, but does anyone have any other advice?

Many people reported getting free 3-day shipping, but those people didn't enter the 25OFF code.

I am exactly in the same boat if someone would verify that they got a email key when they ordered online and chose to ship it to a "local" gamestop that would be great. Edit: You can preorder StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty online and receive your code through email; preorder the game for in-store pick-up, wait 24 hours, and then go to the store for your code; or preorder the game at the store itself, with the code printed out on your receipt. I'm in the same boat. I thought when we "ordered online" and shipped it to the store that we would get a key through email. I shipped it to the store so I can get it the first day it'd come out. I already have a key but I have a list of people I was trying to get keys for so getting the beta key is a nice bonus to reserving a copy.
