Anyone who says anything greater than c for part 1 is amusing me, as well as the fact you left the word "rocket" in the question at first.

Let's get down to business To defeat the zergs! they're so evil and dirrty, treat them like, poor dirt! you're a bunch of newbies i'd hate to train but c'mon please use your brains soldier, I'll make a hero out of you build orders i forget as the game begins Once you find your senses you are sure to win i have low apm, dont need a lot And you haven't got a clue Somehow I defeat the pros with apm sixty-two! I'm never gonna catch that zergling Ah! the mutation's scary Boy, was I a fool for thinking Kerrigan's cool Raynor used to have her back -- God, that's just really creepy Now I really wish terran and protoss could win (Be gosu) We must be swift as the speedy cracklings (Be gosu) With all the force of a reaver's scarab (scare-rub) (Be gosu) With all the power of a templars storm technologically advanced as the protoss's era Time is racing toward us till the Zergs, arrive Heedour every order and you will, survive You're unsuited for the rage of war So pack up, go home you're through How could I make a man out of you? (Be gosu) We must be swift as the speedy cracklings (Be gosu) With all the force of a reaver's scarab (scare-rub) (Be gosu) With all the power of a templars storm technologically advanced as the protoss's era (Be gosu) We must be swift as the speedy cracklings (Be a man) With all the force of a reaver's scarab (Be gosu) With all the power of a templars storm technologically advanced as the protoss's era

Part 1: A broodlord is traveling at speed 0.9c along the x axis of frame S. It shoots broodlings traveling at a speed (3/4)c relative to the broodlord. What is the speed of the broodlings relative to S? speed of broodling relative to S is w speed of broodling relative to broodlord is u speed of broodlord relative to S is v w = (u+v)/(1+uv/c^2) = (.9c + .75c) / (1+9/10*3/4) = 33/20 c / (67/40) = 66/67 c = 0.985c Part 2: The height of a dead cat at perigee is 300 km above the Earth's surface and it is 3000km at apogee. (a) Find the orbit's eccentricity. (b) If we take the orbit to define the xy plane and the major axis in the x direction with the Earth at the origin, what is the satellite's height when it crosses the y axis? (c) Do you like cats? e = (r_a - r_p) / (r_a + r_p) = 2700/3300 = 9/11 = 0.8182 3300 is major axis, and e = 9/11 means 2700 is distance between foci so center of ellipse is (1350, 0) sum of distances to foci is 3300, so semiminor axis b satisfies b^2+1350^2 = 1650^2, so b^2 = 300*(3000) = 9*10^5. so (x-1350)^2/3300^2 + y^2/(9*10^5) = 1, and we want when x=0. so y=300*sqrt(10) when the cat crosses the y-axis T___T so slow but that was fun also I prefer dogs to cats

This is the part in which calvin and hobbes enter into a poster drawing contest. I can't remember exactly what they were advertising, but Susan ended up winning the 5 dollars!
