Howdy guys, it's me, Satal. I'm going to nominate myself, just like everyone else in the thread. But what makes me special? Well, let me tell ya!

First off, with a dual core 3Ghz processor and SLI 8800gt's, Blizzard managed to skip over me on both invite waves. My friend irl got in and then proceeded to give his friend key to some random dude in his English class. Second, I've been playing SC1 since I was 13 (now five years), and the fact that there even is a sequel is enough to get me jumping up and down with excitement. I also tried my luck with HuskyStarcraft's recent beta key competition (my entry video - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lv-QbkG_qcQ) and proceeded to not even get an honorable mention. I've been trying to get a key through the Facebook giveaways, and, apparently, am unsuccesful. I read a thread earlier about a giveaway from CVG, and of course, whilst I was creating an account with them, they closed the competition for the weekend.

Anyways, enough complaining. If I get a key, I'll do that key justice. Though I may not be platinum material, I will play more then a pro-gamer. I currently watch so many replays and VOD's that its painful! TLO's fantastic performance against Liquid'Nazgul has already sold me on Terrans, and WhiteRa's ridiculous switch to conventional on Steppes of War PvP with TLO was so conventional that it was unexpected, and consequentially victorious.

Once again, off track. If I get a key, I will dedicate myself to getting into Platinum League and actually winning. My plan is to livebroadcast several games (livestream.com/satallgeese) and then do my own commentaries on my own games to figure out where I went wrong, what I could have done better, and what the other players did better that I could have done. Those will go on my Youtube channel, while I broadcast.

My goal, is to be the very best.

So come on, help a guy out, will ya? Goodness knows I need it.

P.S. Look how lame I look in that video? Do you see to what lengths I'm willing to go to for a key?

The reason why I think I deserve a beta key because, I play been playing starcraft since i was 6 years old. Which makes me 18 now.For 12 years giving my life for starcraft and blizzard community. Starcraft is my only world and my girlfriend of course

Each day I would play at least 9 our more hours. Not much of a reason, since other players are exactly the same as me. So I don't care if i win one or not, whoever you decide who deserves one is the right one. CONGRATS onto anyone who receives one and keep on gaming starcraft. Well this is my first post here, i don't think anyone remotely could nominate me, therefore i hereby nominate myself.

Fun facts - why do i deserve a beta key?

1. This is my first post. Although most of you would say this is a big disadvantage, dont be fooled, im a lurker here, i follow starctaft scene a lot, and now have been following sc2 beta scene. Although zerg player myself, i sometimes get annoyed by the terran fanboism here on TL.net. Other than that it's a great community, and usually the dialogue on every thread is so rich, there's no need for me add. Oh, and i did not register here today (did this last year), so you cant bust me saying everybody can make first post asap

2. I opted in on the first day, but, alas, no luck so far. Second thing i dare to say i deserve a key, i passionately hate the key policy blizzard have been following- the people getting more than 2 keys per person (ugh, so unfair), only to sell them later, or people going crazy for keys etc. etc. Sure, im enthusiastic about sc2. Just the odds getting key are really against single individual. Although i wanted to watch replays, i could have got the warez version of sc2 , i didnt do that. I still stick watching streams of people at the moment.

3. Although im not good shape in starctaft 1 atm, i have played it a lot. i was pretty decent in warcraft3 some time ago and few other RTS. Im really a RTS fan, and always play games to a ceretain competetive level, depending on real life factors

4. Although there's a tiny possibility i would be getting the key, im still trying in certain ways, cause i realy love starcraft very much. I hope one or 2 keys of this pile are given to some random people like me, who do not have huge amount of posts or arent THAT accomplished on TL.net Thanks for reading. And even if i dont get key, big thanks for TL.net staff and community for such great things they doing for their members. Blizz could learn few tips how to please starctaft community from TL.net!

I personally feel that I deserve a key not because I am the greatest player, but because I love the game, I love TL, and although I'm quite new I've begun to follow the Starcraft scene religiously and I've been dying for a key. I'm going to continue to be respectful, continue to post, and will never, never let that Starcraft flame in my heart die!

I would love to receive a beta key, although I'm not a avid poster, I do love e-sports. I played sc1 when it first came out, and started playing it again about a year ago. I love e-sports, I watch almost all the pro-matches. I've been fairly high in CAL for cs 1.6, I've won small tourney's for unreal, smash, and I've been ranked 13th in the world for WoW s3, and 7 in the U.S. for a single class, (which i'm a little embarrassed about, because WoW isn't competitive.) I have a passion for e-sports, and I preach e-sports to everyone I know. The determination, and skill cannot be over looked. I love sc1. I believe I have the skill to be platinum, and the determination. I watch every day [9] daily, and if I miss it, I watch it the next day. I even dugg it on digg, his 100th episode that is. My heart and soul are in competitive computer gaming. <3 Sva
