this is such a post from a new user called Khaldor! she mostly post self ads for her speed drawing site. its sc2 related but looks like shie wants to 1 promote herself. on the other hand she write a post in a patchnote that she cant run replays.
Total ads ? ban ? or a good thing for the community? i would say: Gray. thats what i mean. its not so easy....
chill comment:
Didn't we already have this thread? yes we had it and no close no ban....

Not really. Only 3 of her posts are about speed drawing, and they are in the appropriate forum, and they are warranted. She posted something she thought people would be interested in, and later said "by the way, it's all moved here now". The posts are completely different from this.

Most cast tournaments will have a post about them in the SC2 Tournaments board (and ICCup TV has posts with schedules as well). There's a list of streams in the top right corner just under the calendar. Most of the good streams (not all) have a stream page here and will have a listing there when they are live. I have used most of them before, but I mean something just for the commentators to write a bit about themselves briefly and teamliquid to verify that yes these people are legit commentators and you can find them here here and here. Kinda like a commentator portal (is that the right word?) that is policed by teamliquid

Blogs? Each stream page has a description where the stream owner (or whoever has access to the particular page) can write whatever they want. Each stream also has a comments page.
I shoud've made myself a bit clearer tofucake. There is a subtle but important difference between what I envisage and the current state of the livestream channel.
The "stream list page" with all the channels on is only catering for those with livestreams. I can't find where it has links to their youtube channel or other media where u can watch their vids. Also I find the page kinda hard to navigate. A lot of the channels are people who are just streaming themselves playing with no commentary. The thing is there are soo many atm there is no easy way to distinguish who does what without watching the stream itself for a bit. Why not make it more user friendly?
There are lots of people showing themselves playing, or streaming vids of games etc. I specifically are looking for just the commentators. Is there an easy way to search for them? Like say I want to look for commentators who help players improve by commentating on games. The commentators would have the tag "commentator" and "improvement" and I could very easily search for them and their page. On their page they may have a link to their youtube channel or others so I could access further vids or a link to several other stream accounts where I could see them play/commentate live if I so desired with descriptions about each one. Maybe the commentators can give a bit more info about themselves and their aim for SC2 as it seems very limited what they can say atm. There would be comments as it is atm.
Sorry if this was overlong. I just had this idea and it would improve the teamliquid experience sooo much more
EDIT: added the background quotes to show relevance.

1) i think this is offtopic. 2) i agree. there were a guy who make a thread with many casters and links but i didnt find it. but i think a categoriy where only caster post there links and a little text would be nice.

Builds and strategies with evidence should be put into Liquipedia 2. Forums are nice for new things, but if you've got a few VODs of someone good using a build successfully, feel free to add it to LP2.

Permanent ban from TL, and whatever content that was in the post is replaced the word nuked.

I apologise I've made a thread, even got a warning, I'm trying to become a good caster but I suck atm
Just casted my second reddit EU tournament and it was tough work, and half my posts are just links asking for feedback on what I'm doing wrong and right, I get a lot of negative feedback but I want to be a caster, that is what I want dammit.
Anyway sorry, I do definitely need to get more into the community, this site is fantastic and SC2 is amazing. I also need to play more 1v1 and get into diamond but that's another matter.
Anyway sorry if that's all I'm doing, I'm really into SC2 in a big way and that's not going to stop any time soon.
How are you?!

Maybe the title needs changed but the reason we are getting these links in here is it seems that people think it is a place for "Links/Advertising/Self Promoters" and so post accordingly.

As for this criticism, it is a platform, so most likely he is parsing the corresponding replay data syncing it up to the stream. The information is really cool and if automated could be very useful.
As for my opinions on it, the sound didn't work(was it suppose to) maybe I missed something (running it in firefox 3.6.8). Also I use Opera so it would be nice if you could eventually support it as well, usually it only needs small changes for it to be accommodated.
