Blizzard has a target number of users they want on Battle.net for their Beta testing. It looks like Blizzard wants to keep the number at roughly 10K users for the US region. This explains why not everybody that is active in the Beta got a friend invite. If Blizzard wants to expand their stress testing, or the number of active players on Battle.net starts to decline, then you can expect further invites. My guess is, they are gradually releasing keys to make up for those that stopped playing, to keep the active players at around 10K. As for the 10K number, dig through the interview with Dustin Bowder in the last 2 weeks - I'm too tired to look for that interview link now. | ||

One friend-invite was fine... but now it seems like people will get three or four keys when others get none. FML. | ||

I agree, what is the point of this another wave of fucking friend invites when people who are in now have like 5 keys while opt ins are left out | ||
