firstly, here is my replay pack from the asian server: Yay! no more bad sound VODs! (word of warning: multiple people have the Moon ID on asian server. the only real game vs moon is on scrapstation or w/e its called me Z him T) btw btw, i'll be releasing new reps pretty much daily from the asian server via my twitter. ill update my VOD thread from time to time with those as well but wont bump it for those.

lol thx. uhmm i think most of them are pretty good. i find the level of the asian server to be quite high, so theres not a lot of chaff in there, especially as the date goes higher. i think the more recent TvPs are the most interesting games, imo.
thanks for the great info, hopefully blizzard is working very hard right now on getting comprehensive ranking/stats information ready for release so people can spend more time playing and less time making these lists

all 3 servers played really differently in the beginning. now they are converging some, but i havent kept complete track of all the trends atm.
I guess Check being so good is no wonder at all. His style in wc3 was pretty unique, he didn't make any waypoints and always moved the units by himself. so i guess his macro was pretty good. (atleast for a long time, I believe he changed in the end) And with playing so many games, he gotta be really good at sc2 now! The best W/L in my opinion considering he played so many games already.
Freedom played wc3 at a really high level and switched to SC where he didn't do that good from what i know, but him being so great (apparently the best ratio with so many games) is no wonder.

BTW: isn't moon playing Z? i thought he wanted to play Z, and in your rep he is a T!? Moon was never good at Wc3 ladder, and so i'm not that disappointed by his record ^^. He's trying a lot of stuff probably.
Hahahaha and everyone from WC3 was shouting that SC will be dominated by SC players only in korea. Now it turned out that Asia is only server dominated by WC3 players :D (prolly because there are almost no pros)
Great pack Artosis. Just finished watching your most recent bout with ShowTime on Kulas Ravine, and imo it was an epic match. Both armies had some really nice mixes. I felt if ShowTime made one or two Sentries some battles may have gone differently
wow i think Starbucks is H_SoDa_W on teamliquid, aka a really nice korean guy who used to study in canada and i met him at a few toronto lans (he was the only one who gave JF a run for his money) :O i thought he went back to korea to do his army service though =S

I think he did good in SC... He made it into the MSL after a pretty short time. I mean, he didn't play SC for long, so all things considered I'm impressed with his talent.

Freedom did really well in sc1 considering how short the time he spent playing SC was compared to others, and the B team sweatshops they have now. He's very talented and could easily be considered a sort of dark horse in terms of who is going to be among the dominant/S class in SC2 (as opposed to just really good)
Cool Hellion runby against Garimto. Too bad he forgets chronoboost exists all of 5 minutes into the game, he probably would have stood a better chance of recovery
I don't know why you guys keep saying showtime and moon were never that good. When I used to play wc3 showtime was considered one of the best players in the world and moon was always considered the best NE player in the world.
I've seen a lot of your videos at SCforAll. I've watched few reps, and I'm amazed already! I'm definitely going to try reaper opening into timing push; it seems really solid.
I want to add that I am sooooooooooooooooooooooo glad that you're a terran. I watched few of your other videos in which you played zerg and I was afraid that you had switched. But I was happy as I first watched your game against darknewhand and you were T ^^ Thanks a lot!
you sure moon is a terran usually? i am 99% sure to remember that he told in an interview that he liked zerg best and wants to play zerg in sc2. long ago though.
That 9hr game shows why the current reveal system needs to be tweaked. Only reveal a player if other's pop is over 50 and his pop is under 30. Here artosis starts to build a sneaky new CC and suddenly a no reveal message pops up ruining everything! Ok the protoss would have probably scouted it but still the option needs to be there to pull this off without the game mechanics telegraphing the opponent what you are doing.

I haven't watched the replays that Artosis put up, but I have been watching the commentated youtube videos and I think every single one that involves Idra has him losing.
It is partly because many people enjoy seeing him lose and partly because of his hilarious(depending upon your perspective) BM.
Do you know if he is confirmed switching to protoss? That makes me kinda sad. I kinda enjoyed the fact that the foreigner scene had a macro monster terran that forced people to do crazy things to beat him. I guess he probably won't be able to win as much based off of pure mechanics in SC2, but I liked that straight up every game style he had going.
