First up, Mass Recall from the Mothership. 100 energy. Teleports all the units in the spell's radius to the Mothership. As you can see, units just outside the graphic are still sucked up and placed neatly directly beneath the Mothership. Probes are also sucked up.

Next up, the High Templar Feedback spell. It looks like a freaking SMITE on the Ghost in this video. I also am able to hit a Raven for pretty good damage with it. For those who didn't read, Feedback destroys all of an enemy unit's energy, and deals 1 damage to that unit per energy destroyed. It costs 50 energy to cast, and High Templar come with it right out of the box.

The second video starts too late to see it

Edit: Got it now thanks, how much energy to ghosts start off with now?

No, that first dead unit is a marine. Pause it at :08 or :09 to see the Ghost eat a purple SMITE from Heaven.

No that death at the start is a marine being hit by mothership weapons. A ghost and a Raven get hit a bit after.

Hm, I just wish they tried new abilities with Terran as well, not just some number tweaks here and there...

Not sure I like the graphic for Mass Recall. It seems too inconspicuous. Would have liked something a bit more fitting of the name, and perhaps more reminiscent of the SC1 recall graphic.

It's also interesting to note how it packs the units together when they get recalled. Probably not relevant, because people will probably try to pack as many units into a recall as possible anyway, but could be interesting when defending against them.

Mass Recall looks... massive. High Templar are awesome, Feedback for sniping casters and Psionic Storm for destroying masses.

Mass Recall truly is mass. You can practically grab a 200 supply army and have them instantly cloaked in an enemy's base... now you just have the issue of getting the mothership into a base. Would it be worth it to use it as a suicide dropship? Fly through the turrets and cannons and whatnot just to get the recall off, then kaboom?

I guess mass reacalls can grap up your whole army, 70-80 zealots should easily fit in there xD

Use sentries to hallucinate the Mothership.

EDIT: I like how they put Feedback for HT's.

Now it all comes down to skill between Protoss Feedback and Terran EMP.

Hmmm.... feedback should be fun.

I am a bit curious as to why they totally removed phase shift though? Sure it wasn't being used very much... but it sounded like a great way to help protoss deal with ultralisks.

I just downright hate the Patch... It's one thing to have people around screaming:" imbalance! nerf please!" but another to have the game adjusted so that it becomes Broodwar in 3D. Don't understand me wrong, I love Broodwar. But I don't want another Broodwar, I want a new and innovative game with new gameplay. Giving the Protoss it's Recall back is in my eyes a step in the wrong direction. Instead of letting the players invent new strategies (and protoss had a lot of potential for that allready) Blizzard reacts to the old habits of Broodwars Protosses. Sad...

Sounds like you died several times to recall in Broodwar.

It's pretty different seeing as the Mship is a hell lot slower than Arbiters.

I'm pretty sure Psionic Storm will still be the primary use for High Templars. It's too good at the moment.

I doubt that the mothership will survive the beta in it's current form. It's already becoming more and more like an arbiter. Recall has always been such a sweet skill and I'm glad it's back. I think that the mothership is just too big for multiplayer SC.

Feedback on the High Templar is super sexy.

Feedback is definitely very fitting for the High Templar considering that Psionic Storm is all about ripping apart the minds of others, so it makes sense for them to be able to blow up another psionic. It's gonna be interesting to see all the Ghost vs. HT wars that are sure to come up from this.

i miss being able to fe as zerg even with the gateway timings changes holding off a 2 gate zealot push is pretty much impossible dam 100 min zealots and faster econ

mass recall of that size even though mothership is super slow 800 hp and the size of that recall seems a bit large.

SC2 recall has a much bigger radius and units pack tighter. That seriously looks like you could get your entire army with a single cast o.O

lol win.

Looks like now feedback is the counter to ghost getting off an emp. Nice little back and fourth countering that has been introduced PvT I think
Bronze skipping straight to Diamond in 40 games retail release. Bnet 2.0 ladder really takes it's sweet time to think about that league placement.

I think the Mothership does need a third spell, especially since it seems like 8 or 9 have been introduced and pulled already. My hope is that by the end of the beta that the mothership is still around and is still worth getting. =P

Whoa, that radius is huge. Recall is gonna be a big fucking pain in the ass without spider mines.

How is adding one spell that was much loved by Brood War players the same thing as turning the game into "Broodwar in 3D"?
