Same here, I need to wait for VODs since UStream just doesn't want to work with my internet .
Also, trying out those stretches in Daily #252 for the first time makes my nerd arms weep.

Anyone else having issues with blip.tv? The archive isn't loading the daily at all.

Works fine for me, try disabling ad-block?

Wow.
Daily #252 should go down in history as far as I'm concerned.
Thank you so much for actually explaining all that!!

Because he's actually a useful, contributing member of the community.

He also does one hell of an Overlord impression. Both reasons satisfy the "Advertisement Rules, Regulations and Tomfoolery Act" of 2008. It was a very radical admin-administration back then, many critics thought adding the "Overlord Clause" was irresponsible, but in a surprising move the measure was passed unanimously. Of course, for those of you following Team Liquid history, this is the same year the "Flying Monkeys Act" was passed enabling admins to use annoying floaty graphics to otherwise cripple a thread rather than closing it. Truly an era of experimentation and poor choices for all.

As for my true reason for my posting; Am I allowed to do the Queen production Funday Monday thing in a Team game with a non-Z teammate? I looked back a few pages and found naught.

Day[9] is quite free when it comes to those rules, as long as you follow the rules to the letter, I believe he will accept it.
So yeah, I assume you can do that. As long as the result is fun

I recently got a new Sony Bravia HX8 TV. It's internet capable, and includes an app for blip.tv. As most of you are aware this is where Day[9] primarily hosts his VODs. However, I can't seem to find them via this app on the TV. There's a search function as well that hasn't turned up anything under the terms "Day 9," Day9," "Day[9]" or "Day [9]."
Am I missing something or does this app have some kind of limited selection available? If anyone knows anything about this I'd appreciate your knowledge.

Day9 is way behind in the shorty awards now :S Come on Starcraft community, there are thousands watching him each daily, if everyone of those voted on him, this would've already have been finished <.<

Day9 is the man. Love his dailys

The shorty awards only count Twitter accounts that have been up for a while AND only those that remain active. A bunch of people making fresh Twitter accounts to vote will not be counted unfortunately.
Also, Day[9] is in the top 6. Which, according to the shorty award rules means that he will move on as a "finalist"
The six users with the highest rank in each official category at the end of the nomination period become finalists
* Members of the Real-Time Academy of Short Form Arts & Sciences will carefully review the finalists' tweets and Shorty Interview answers (if any) and fill out an anonymous survey with their choices for winners. Academy members are not allowed to vote on categories in which they are finalists or have conflicts of interest * To determine the winner in each category, the Academy will combine their own judgment with the outcome of the popular vote

day 9 was explaining in 252, that the best handposition is having the wirst at the edge of the table, so the hand has more free and easy movement compared to the "arm on table"-position.
I never was using this. In fact my hand got a more free and easy movement while i was trying this out. But the negative effect was, that my wrist started to hurt sitting on the hard edge of the table. Usually you would use a pillow for that. I generally hate mousepad-pillows. So i came to another a idea which might be usefull for some of you, if you experience the same problems with your wrist but want to use the edge-hand-position..

usually this is for boxers where you put your whole hands into bandages, but you can also bandage your wrist with that which ends up like a pillow on your hand and not on the table, giving you some even more free movement of your hand. also it creates distance to the table so the hand has a little bit of pivot, which helps free movement too.
the funny thing is its looks damn martial and can boost your mental aspect while gaming too, feeling like rocky somehow :-)
try it out, i am not kidding.

Did any one else think of this when they saw Day9 shout ''Banelings'' in the latest daily?

Request for a Daily: KiWiKaKi (P) vs. DarKForce (Z) G2 @ TLOpen #12. KiWiKaKi's Mothership play beaten.

Is it just me that finds all his pausing and filming of himself boring? I'd like to absorb his knowledge but with all the pausing and rambling it sucks =/
