If you are sacrificing something in your life to watch something and then being angry because the person who does it for free didn't do it (which VERY rarely happens) than you are addicted and need help.
He's doing this for free dedicating his own time to help out the community, you also have to remember that while he's not filming he also has to work with encoding and uploading and trouble shooting.
Don't insult his viewers because they defend him when people get angry that he missed a single daily. It's not the end of the world.

Edit: What I meant by that statement is that people who have to pick a few hours out of the week for relaxation time and choose the daily for that time are more likely to be disappointed than someone who has lots of free time. I thought it was pretty evident.

It wasn't what you said that I think is stupid, it's how you said it, you implied that the people defending Sean are nerds with no lives. You implied that people are sacrificing things in their life in order to watch the show, grow up.
As I stated in my post, you're insulting the viewers who defend him and they only defend him because of the tremendous service he gives the entire community.

Thanks for proving my point. If you can't even understand that many people DO sacrifice their free time to watch the show, then you have a lot more free time than me. I can't even play SC2 any more and this is the only taste that I get.

Free time is not something you sacrifice, free time is there to be spent.
You claim to have waited an hour for Day[9], why didn't you do something else in that time or play SC2 since you never play it anymore...
If something gets delayed you do something else and move on, you can watch it on blip.tv any time.

Horrible example. He wasn't pissed about day9 canceling, he was pissed about being kept in the dark. Sure he is immature about it, but have you by chance ever looked to the right of the stream window during a day9 daily?

medical school is about 100 hrs/ week on a good week. That doesn't include having a family etc.
Some people reach a point in there life where "free time" doesn't exist. You give up one thing for another.

As someone with incredibly limited free time (Engineering Physics undergrad + part time job + extracurriculars) I don't even know what to say to this. There's more to life than starcraft my friend. Technically everyone has 24 hours of free time, 7 days a week. It's called having priorities.

Yes, I can't understand that... Why? Because you CHOSE to spend the hour waiting for it, you could've gone and done something else like I did. He said it would be delayed an hour, ok so wait an hour, come back and it's still not up, wait 15 minutes and come back. If it's still not there assume it won't happen and move on.
I don't understand why somebody can be mad at some other person for them wasting their own time.

I never said I wasn't doing anything else for the hour. It did however prevent me from doing altogether other things, like watching lectures.
ultimately you proved my point, that the people "defending" sean are raging at those of us who dare mention that we would rather have had a daily than not tonight. And that a little explanation would have helped ease the pain.
