Anyone else having alot of trouble winning unless someone goes something boring like marines? Only game I won was in a 4 v 4 placement match against silvers (most of the team was diamond).

My team went 2-1 last night, but one game we rushed with basic units against another Funday team going with an actually interesting mix (again, sorry guys). In the other win we went immortal, collosi, phoenix, marine, but we could have used any units at all because it was a placement match and our opponents were complete scrubs.
Interesting note: a ball of 20+ immortals is effective against structures.

Maybe I missed it, but is there a theme for next Newbie Tuesday? Or are we not sending in replays this week?

Last night's Newbie Tuesday was quite a nice one in a good while (the silly stuff is of course fun to watch, but this one really gets to the core of the matter). I've been having a increasingly harder time randoming as Zerg lately as I get up in ranking - this one really helped me identify key issues I've been having with my play. Hope to see more such good stuff in the future!

Had some really cool games and a pretty epic one, but I guess 50 minutes is way too long :/

Mothership (vortex) & templar (storm) + SCV (heals Moship) & Ghost (nuke) + infestor (fungal)
1.Vortex nuke 2. Fungal nuke 3. Fungal storm
And my favorite (not sure if you can recall teammates): 4. Mothership recalls SCV/ghost/probes/spinecrawlers/infester/overlord(for creep) into base and cannon/nuke/spinecrawler/infest workers the base.
Everyone funnels excess mineral to Terran so he can mass up orbitals and mass SCV/Mule to heal mothership! oh please someone do this one!!!

Wanted to post this here based on some of the sound issues in the Friend-day daily. In Windows 7 it has an automatic volume adjustment feature. Not sure if this was the cause of the sound issues but it could be part of it.
If you right click the speaker icon in the system tray and click "Sounds" from the menu. Then move over to the communications tab and turn off the volume adjustment.
