I don't know enough to say whether roaches are closer to being worth 1 or 2 food, but as a spectator it seems frustrating to watch matches from before the nerf where a caster is amazed by how a roach heavy zerg does so well even from behind in the food count, or matches after the nerf where a caster is amazed by how fast the roach heavy player is getting ahead of his opponent, presumably from macro / better econ. I suppose it's not considered such a crucial issue and is one interesting avenue for actual game balance, but it seems the more you mess with the way food is valued in different army compositions, the more complex it is to grasp relative positions of each player during a match from the spectator side (possibly needing to bounce between food count, army resource value, and unit counting station tabs to wrap your head around it). | ||

Actually if I remember it correctly, it was in reference to the 9 clan, but he put the name on after the clan disbanded or such, but that he thought it was cool I think, having his name in one word like the other top guys he knew. He was Sleeping Drone at one point during his 100th episode daily explaining his time in starcraft I believe before that | ||
