As for connection problems.
I'm from Poland, were we are supposed to have creepiest internet connections but I didint have any issues with stream. Also the quality was superb. Anyone with slow connection can try to skip cast and start VOD, pause just as it starts, take an hour brake to do lessons (because You don't want to be idiot without school) or go sell drugs (if You are an idiot). After an hour start cast, it should load by that time

And for people who are trying to encourage their newbie friends, djWheat and Chill have a weekly set of exercises, called Chill 101, as part of their show that are aimed at people who are just starting to play and want to improve their game: Weapon of Choice
Day 9 could cover these things as well, but I think since others are already doing it, he should instead just let people know about these other resources and let them focus on that stuff.

Yo Day. Since you've asked for stream feedback before, just thought I'd mention that the last two nights when I've tried to watch live via ustream, it lagged and skipped pretty badly. Like it would start out fine and then start to halt for a second or so over and over, then eventually skip ahead so that I missed chunks. I don't remember this happening so much with livestream, though apparently you've had a fair amount of trouble with them. I watch other livestreams like LZ with no trouble. Not a big deal for me, since I'll just watch the vids later, but in case you can use the feedback.

Day9, you say the screen skips/lags/low framerate for you, but honestly its smooth as butter for us. So don't sweat the framerate out too much

Just FYI, you keep talking about how bad the lag and fps are, but I watched the entire cast today and yesterday, and caught no noticeable lag or fps drop at all. 100% excellent quality and latency throughout the entirety of both casts. Keep up the good work!

Tonight you kept mentioning how your fps was going down, but on the stream it looked perfectly fine (for me at least). I'm guessing on your end you might have had some slow downs because of w/e. but the stream seemed to still be smooth.

The stream on my computer was unwatchable. It was jumping and skipping and lagging in and out constantly. I don't live in the middle of a city, so the closest tower is a good distance away from my house, but I usually don't have any problems watching anything off of livestream. I love that the quality is better on the on demands, but the live casts on ustream are no longer an option for me.
