![]() Still awesome ![]() Btw. I downloaded some episodes from Blip but i recognized that it was .flv format or something like that, couldn't you render or whatever to mp3s instead? if it is not too much trouble. If it is i just have to convert em myself for my iphone ![]() Or make it like Djwheat have, directly connected to itunes. Or maybe you need some permissions to do that i don't know. Anyhow, great show.

Echoing this, same experience for me. Looks fantastic. Only annoyance is the big USTREAM covering up the supply numbers, but I can live with that. Might be nice if they gave an option to put it in a different corner, upper left would be perfect for SC2.

I do think, with your new rig, you are able to push out some higher quality of the video(in game) though (if your internet supports it). Ustream logo covering food count is a bit annoying but nothing really huge. You can see if you can contact livestream and ask them to see if its possible to put it in upper left instead of upper right?

However, I've never really experienced lag with livestream outside of your crashes. It was nice though, I'm still a fan of low graphics (even though most aren't) Something about seeing waves in the creep puts me in a trance... ![]()

I doubt it's my connection, either, because I'm between 20-30 mbits and usually run multiple streams at the same time. So, something still a little rough around the edges. Also, one minor annoyance is that because of the higher quality you notice that when you move the screen slightly now it kind jars the screen out of focus. The caster catches up really fast, so it's only like a half a second of blur, but it's noticeable. It kinda takes you out of the action for a little bit.

I guess it's unavoidable to have a few wackos when you have so many viewers and fans.

However, I also had this issue : On May 06 2010 22:21 Takkara wrote: Overall it was better, but there were moments where the visual froze up and the audio kept going. I think it culminated in me being about 15 seconds behind everyone else, cause I saw questions start pouring in before I hear you ask for them, and the episode ended suddenly in the middle of a sentence for me. Also a couple of freezelags every now and then but overall it was a deadsolid stream!

This happened to me too. Quality was really good, but the stream froze a LOT.

I've been trying desperately to get my hands on the SC 2 beta key and I'd really like if you could do an episode dedicated to new players not too familiar with the game maybe just starting with Starcraft 2. General tips how to start playing, improving play and things to keep in mind. I don't really have the option to practice at the moment, but I've grasped the general idea of some of the builds you've gone over in your casts. The things I'd need help with starting out, though, are tips on how to develop macro, micro, hotkey assignments, control groups etc. Don't know if there are any more "Starcraft newbies" following your casts hoping for same kind of tips and info, but I, myself would really appreciate it. Yes, Day9, I have a bunch of friends recently given a betakey, but as they are all noobs they won't join a 2v2-team with me in fear of getting roflstomped, and playing a even match 1v1 versus them is in the distant future. But, could you please do a "Getting started"-episode I can point them to, that would be awesome. I guess there are alot of starcraft newbies wanting vod help nowadays. really nice with vods for us in europe again!
