I think the crazy micro stuff will come soon. People are still just really experimenting with *Everything*. Builds, micro, unit usage, spell usage, unit placement, etc. In a few years you will prolly see it come down to micro details when everything is "thought out"

Obviously I've enjoyed your commentary but after finally watching #100, I am even more entertained!

The tech talk makes me feel a bit old at times (similar memories offset by a half dozen years will do that!) but it was not only fun but really spoke to whatever it is that our geeky generation has as an "experience".

EDIT2: Btw, the amusing bit about the 11yr old who qualified is so pure. Personal memories of GenCon in Racine as a kid of about the same age make it even more fun (although of course AD&D can only be compared in terms of geeky, it was oddly a 'competitive' setting)! Hell man, I was pretty creative at that age I suppose or at least enough that we 'won' some.

Of course I was also a competitive player at such interesting arcade classics like Crystal Castles around then but hey, AD&D was geek crack in the day. I became far more competitive later of course but oddly for such a young VG adopter, I went more for board games: Go, A&A, Diplomacy etc... hehe, until MUDs and the like at least.

Sorry to moan, but why are we missing almost all the VoDs since episode #100? As a poor European, I'm not able to watch them live and at the moment we've only got #103 and #107 on VoD (and they're both SC1, which saddens me a bit). I know it takes a while to upload VoDs for some reason but I hope they're not just getting skipped now...

I know, man. These are sad days for SC fans. I'm holding off playing more 1v1 solo ladder in SC2 because its just boring, mass marauder is what I end up with in 3/4 of the games.

The most dissappointing part is the boring progamer duels. At least Warcraft 3 has insane micro, which was interesting at times. There are a great deal of people who deceive themselves because they see the potential of SC2, instead of what it actually is.
