theres no dm better than rodri atm, whereas currently vinicius isnt even the best left forward in his own team. id have mbappe over vinicius any day.

in united news, im not getting hyped for amorim at all. his credentials seem impressive but ten hag was the exact same if not better before he came too. good luck is all

You would have mbappe over vinicius? Have you seen RM games?

As for Amorim what sort of credentials is your local media giving? Not an international player, no big club experience as either player or manager, no results to show in continental club competitions. Its a 2 time portuguese champion with a few years in between and sporting feels like the best/most solid team in portugal right now (but porto is bankrupt and benfica was being mismanaged).

Sporting plays good football and im sure he will be a good manager when he transitions elsewhere but the summer and current hype its not something i understand. Not even Mourinho had as much and porto crushed the field locally and won uefa and champions league back to back before JM went to chelsea. Hell, even AVB had more credentials than what Amorim has now. I hope this does not get taken the wrong way but its confusing to me.

Would've been totally fine if Vini had won, he's a fantastic player who had a fantastic season. But the team throwing this type of tantrum is fkn hilarious - and relating to the discussion about Vini being a dick, this is the best example I've seen.

psg mbappe vs vini? psg mbappe wins by a mile. mbappe at rm is another story because honestly he shouldnt be there. they bought him for the brand rather than for team cohesion, and it will obviously take time for not just mbappe to settle but for the team to perform with mbappe and vini together. id still have mbappe on the left over vini at rm though. clearly even ancelotti is struggling to get the best out of mbappe though, seeing as theyve even been playing a 4-4-2 recently

as for amorim, well the media im looking at is mainly english media. the news im seeing is hes got a couple titles, dominant in the league, good win percentage, many goals scored, not many goals conceded, plays "attractive" football etc.
again, the same things were said about ten hag though so im not going to get too excited

With the ManU situation cleared who do you think is gonna be the next big club manager who has to go?
My guess is Sahin in Dortmund is not gonna make it till Xmas. He can be glad if he survives the next national team break mid November.

Aa far as I've understood, Ivan Juric in AS Roma might be out if he loses the next game. AC Milan isn't doing too hot with Fonseca either.

As someone who saw a lot of PSG games, the little from RM ive seen its the same mbappe. He just doesnt have the luxury to miss 5 or 6 chances for each goal he scores because the league is more balanced than France.

But i do admit i have a very big negative bias against him.

Regarding amorim, if he goes i wish him and you guys the best. He is a great guy and deserves to succeed and utd is too good to be in their current position.

For me it’s Mbappe, but has he really improved all that much in recent years? Vini on the other hand, clearly has been

It almost physically pains me to say this but like, look at Ronaldo. He went from a flashy winger without end product, to this complete attacking player. And that’s before he even goes to Real and becomes this obscene goal scorer and one of the best we’ve seen in the air.

Messi didn’t have that kind of transformation, but he was still improving in level too.

I think Mbappe has many sensible things to say on things like social issues, he’s probably a decent bloke but my god I don’t think PSG over-indulging him has helped his ego, and by extension his game.

Bournemouth beating both Arsenal and City this season already. That's crazy.

They're 2 points behind us with over half the season to play. I wouldn't want to say their luck as ran out yet. They do this every season, start weak, give other teams false hope, and then come back and win it all.

I think Arsenal are already out of the title race imo. It's going to be hard for them to maintain an elite form to recover the points lost.

I meant as in City playing bad but actually losing a game. Usually one of their stars saves them in the last few minutes. Obviously title race is still hugely in their favour.

Arsenal are out yes. Arteta had huge luck last season with almost no injuries (only City had less injuries) but failed to capitalise on that. They dont have the squad or the manager to be able to challenge for a title and play in all those competitions. Money was spent but bad purchases and sales by the manager

Are there any coaches you actually think are decent?

I don’t think Arsenal are out of it yet, just because I don’t think we’re going to have one of those seasons where the bar to winning is the high 80s thru 90s in terms of points. If it were, perhaps Arsenal are already dropping too much ground, but I just don’t see anyone keeping up that kinda pace.

I think we’re already seeing one of the most competitive seasons in recent years. Perhaps it doesn’t end up being a 4/5 way scrap for the actual title, but I don’t think it’ll be a scenario where either City and possibly one other are just miles out in front. Long may that continue!

They’ll get Odegaard back, they might keep 11 men on the pitch more frequently and ultimately they’re still comfortably one of the best sides in the league.

It’s really the manner of their season so far that makes me think they can at least be in the reckoning. They were the better side against Liverpool, they very nearly beat Man City a man down for a huge chunk of the game.

Idk I think this Arsenal have a quite undeserved reputation for mental frailty, when I actually think the opposite is true. They’re just up against rather bloody good opposition

I still think David Moyes gets far, far less praise than he deserves. Across all stints, with the possible exception of at Sunderland (although noone could have stopped that trainwreck)

I've watched a bit of West Ham this year and they look much worse under Lopetegui

Moyes is a top quality manager.
For anyone outside the top 6 he's probably an improvement on what they have now.
