Pande was never even close to admitting that the penalty was dodgy. In fact he repeatedly argue that it should always be a penalty.

Think his argument was that nobody should complain about the penalty because given the game situation at that point, England would have scored anyway. But arguing with Pande about Chelsea or Engerland are a totally lost cause. Nobody should ever take his arguments seriously when they are about one of these topics :p

Honestly, I hate pens in finals for one simple reason: A deciding goal makes a player a hero. But in pens, usually it is all about some poor dude becoming the national loser.
