BUT what they can achieve beyond the group phase has to be seen. Dortmund is really no indicator. We won a few league games this season already but there is no system, no will. There is all the talent but nothing else at the moment. | ||

FIFA Want this to replace champions league, but the premier league would still conitnue. The money involved in this dwarfs that in the champs league right now and with COVID destroying income for every club right now....their is a big chance this might indeed happen. | ||

I think killing the league cup should probably happen or make it the league cup and exclude the premier league, so its just a cup for championship, league 1 and league 2 teams. Premier league doesn't need it and maybe that way the rest of the prem teams would then take the FA cup more seriously. | ||

So I guess Dortmund are specialists in playing Real twice a year for lots of years and as a fan I could tell you, that every cl-draw came down to hoping: please Barca, not Real, please everybody not Real. On matchday you're still hyped just because it's your team playing but yeah... I'd be interested in the playoffs I guess. That's what is great about CL: elimination games. | ||
