Everton is really fun to watch this season. Got some defensive flaws, but very good offensively.

Feels like a season where some weird things might happen (pre-season being short seems to have made things a bit more volatile), I can picture the top 4 race being very exciting this season too, with more than the usual suspects butting in.

(And for makito - James Rodriguez is being absolutely fantastic. He's finally looking as good as he was supposed to be after the breakout world cup. )

And also Haaland with another two goals + assist.

Yeah he might be but im sure Pep runs everything in that club, he got Tixiki in, he looks in complete control of that club from the outside imo. I think i can nameJorginho as the only players Pep has wanted or that Man City has wanted but have not got during his spell there? Jorginho because Jorginho choose London over Manchester it seemed?

The club or Pep has literally spent £400 million on fullbacks alone??? Its baffling, they have still yet to also find a replacement for Aguero 3 seasons into needing said replacement because Aguero is constantly injured.

That game was fun. City had insane domination periods, and Leeds scored during their only good one. I'd say unlucky, but this has been City's trademark for a while now haha.

For transfers, it seems like Pep isn't the best at it. Great coach, meh recruiter. To me this team needs to replace both wing backs. Walker is trash and Mendy doesn't seem consistent nor to have the football IQ necessary to be in this team. A 9 would not be a bad idea either.

In reality my guess is their whole transfer window was fucked with Messi drama. They must have been really thinking they were getting him, pooling money together etc etc then 3 weeks to go and its like naa it aint happening. Because if u put Messi as false 9 into this team Man City all of a sudden are looking a lot better, todays game alone he probs scores or does something and then city win 3/4-0

I agree. In Spain, coaches usually doesn't manage transfers so when he was in Barcelona the Laporta board with Txiki decided most of the transfers.

The only transfer Guardiola personally requested to the board was Chigrinskiy and it was an absolute overpaid fail.

That was a clean penalty, Spurs weren't protesting it either. This has been for sure an entertaining and eventful start to a game.

Yeah if Lamela can try to elbow Martial to the throat but that follow-up gets Martial sent off I'm not impressed by the ref. However the Spurs lead is well deserved given the dumpster fire that our defence is.
