Best to take the guesswork out of it, end the season, and just wait until it's done. There may be some seniors/5th years that get screwed, but ya know...happens. Now, what would be a fantastic idea, is to expand the combine and NFL tryout days to everyone who is eligible. That way, people who did opt out of the season or had the season/games cut short get an opportunity to showcase their skills. That would be the best way to do this.

They could've planned the schedule around more cancellations and postponements. Having the bowl games and the national championship on the same dates they had in the past seemed a bit too optimistic in the current environment. The weather has just recently turned colder so it's going to get worse. At least some kids know now not to visit grandpa and grandma on Thanksgiving.

And at least with having football they get tested and don't go home and give it to grandma. Watching Notre Dame storm the field after their win scared me. All those students going right to the team and crowding up.

That even if 90% of the team is being responsible, that 10% that decides to do a keg stand to sleep with Ashley or Adam, is what passes it along (could also be from outside forces as well (food, shopping, etc)). But its still not really a problem. There's very limited transmission at practices, and literally 0 at games. Most of the postponments this week are the result of overly aggressive contact tracing-quarantine protocols. If anything, its an anti-problem, because its not like giving people 8 more hours of free time, and no incentive against having a hangover in the morning is going to make them socially distance better. Even the Notre Dame field storming is probably pretty minor. The crowd gathered for less time than your average political protest, and those went on all summer, and were just as dense and lasted for hours, not minutes. Also, stadiums like ND have much better air circulation than your average downtown street.

Cherish the moment. You guys won't have a ton of these this season... or the next. ![]() Meanwhile, I'm pumped to see my Boilermakers kick Northwestern's butt. If Purdue beats Northwestern, then the winner of Big 10 West could come down to Purdue vs IU lol.

GT tier. Man. That's depressing to consider. Frost has a long, long leash, but the noise is going to start getting louder if we continue to lose games we shouldn't. Playing OSU close the first half and then falling apart in the second (which is a theme with this team for some reason) is not going to cut it. That we started out rFr QB and the offense got to rolling is bad signs for the Martinez. Also need to get other RBs in the game. Robinson isn't going to be able to take too many more games of being demolished.
