What is it about Spurs and their ridiculous luck against City?

There's bound to be errors (some bc people checking videos are still human, others because of more questionable situations) But as a whole it has been terrific, and it should be getting better

It has helped ofc, but it is not the best system at all, far from it. Premier League officials doing ours for example said they would never call the Liverpool champs league final penalty a penalty in this country....So its biggest flaw, is the rules themselves, they are not black and white, they are grey and grey area = mixed decisions.

With more than a year of VAR experience around here and with a better protocol than you seem to have in england, VAR is helpful in countries with bad referees (like around here in Portugal because they save a lot of mess from happening, when not involving certain clubs, but that is a cultural problem). However, in the BPL, referees actually get their shit right to what is possible for the human eye to catch. Now you are forcing them to judge ridic situations (like city goal) that may not be seen in the same way by all thus giving different decisions. Killing goal celebrations is not good for football because the excitment of a goal will be very diminished. In england there was no complaining or people discussing referees because any potential mistake would balance through the season. Now you will start discussing shit outsider of football, not good.

I think you must have missed the past 2-3 seasons of premier league completely. The BPL has masses of incorrect calls because the game has just gotten way too quick. Hell not even an English ref was nominated for the world cup. There were TONS of discussions of referees from ALL clubs...

I've seen a lot of bpl over the years (not close to all games obviously) but i've never seen the amount of mystakes you imply. But hey, this might be a perception thing only. Regarding english refs in international competitions, the let them play mentality that we all love on the bpl is poorly seen by diver's countries players/management/whatever when it comes to international games. Thats my take on it but obviously its just my opinion.

English refs are all crap. No idea how Portugese ones are but to say English ones are good lol.
