30 up front, 96 mio in installments (that Benfica gets right away from a factoring with 6M€ of cost, hence why atlético are paying more than the release clause). My previous comments regarding the kid remain. He is very good, not this good but very good. The physical aspect of the game will need to improve a lot. And I hope he gets along with simeone's style

Argentina should have been out in group stage, and Brazil out by now already. But boss...

And I hope he gets along with simeone's style It feels like 126 million is way too risky for anyone 19-year-old. There are so many unknown factors to anyone at that age, not to speak of the pressure that you're putting on the kid. I guess Mbabbe turned out alright though, although I'm not sure if he has still completely justified that crazy transfer fee either.

I do wonder how motivated he'll stay at PSG though. There's probably some risk of getting sloppy when you're a millionaire world champion at 19 and the domestic league isn't a contest.

My guess is he's going to get a free ride for this season, then get his transfer window and then gets judged on whatever the 2nd season looks. ... That or he proceeds to get stomped by Arsenal in the opening week, goalscoring is an issue, bad spirits start to rise again and everything unravels from there and he's close to sacking by boxing day.

Hope he will have a great future in Atlético and for our national team. We have some new youngsters coming up tho for that spot, maybe not this year but Dantas(more like a Xavi), Nuno Santos and Jota (more winger) will also be great players. I do think 120M is too much money but that's how the market is and great move by Benfica to have such a great release clause and for forcing this ammount

Seems to me Ajax has to get 150m for de Ligt then. If that's the going price for teens that have barely proven themselves... De Ligt at least is way further along in his development. And vd Beek is probably at a similar place. Also, time to up the asking price for Ziyech and Neres. Clearly absurd prices are only getting absurderer, so 30m for Ziyech is way too low.
