Have to hope for someting like Shakhtar ManU Anderlecht Feyenoord for them to have a fighting chance out of the group. If they draw something like Real Paris Napoli Feyenoord they don't even have a real shot at getting 3rd. And there's a lot more of the latter group possibilities than the former. | ||

True, but it doesn't really matter, they'd get destroyed in the RO16 anyway. Pot 3 has a number of teams that could advance, like Napoli, Liverpool, Rome, Tottenham, but I don't think there are any in pot 4. | ||

Getting to play european football will solidify our economy and make us significantly more attractive for talents who consider us a good stepping stone (a reputation we largely have already, but we'd basically become attractive to players that are one level higher), and the current leadership is so good that I am confident they'd be able to continue building upon that success. If we lose, then the season ends up being 'meh', even if we win the third norwegian double in a row. ;p Still, losing isn't considered a crisis at all. First game vs ajax largely proved that they're good enough to quality for the europa league - at least if we're a bit luckier with the draw - although we probably couldn't have hoped for a better time to face off against Ajax specifically.  | ||
