The Brazil team is pretty stacked. In addition to Ronaldo, there's Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Emerson, Bebeto, Cesar Sampaio, Goncalves, Junior Baiano, Aldair, Ze Roberto, Giovanni, Edmundo, Gilberto Silva and Dida confirmed. Will Brazil finally be able to beat Norway, or are we gonna extend it to a 5 game unbeaten streak?? Time will tell!

Cristiano is the real Ronaldo now. You mean Penaldo? ![]() The Brazil team is pretty stacked. In addition to Ronaldo, there's Roberto Carlos, Rivaldo, Emerson, Bebeto, Cesar Sampaio, Goncalves, Junior Baiano, Aldair, Ze Roberto, Giovanni, Edmundo, Gilberto Silva and Dida confirmed. So only Taffarel and Cafu missing from the first XI... Leonardo and Denilson also played after substitutions in that match. Carlos Germano, Zé Carlos, Doriva and André Cruz finish the 22

Ronaldo said 'I can't believe you guys are still talking about that game. It was just luck. ', and some version of 'we are going to restore Brazil's honor and glory and end this terrible streak once and for all'. So I think the Brazil players are doing it partially because they're getting paid and partially because they understand it's a really big thing in Norway and they think it sounds like a fun event. it also supposedly took 4 years to make it happen. Being offered a one week trip in Norway to play a football game with some old teammates does not sound like the most awful thing in the world, I don't think it required that much money to convince the Brazilians.

I've read "being offered a one way trip to Norway..." and wondered... But yeah, what you really wrote makes sense actually. Sure some act like divas and still ask for for lots of money, but in the end this is probably just a really well prepared class reunion, and if they really started prepping this 4 years ago... yeah... It was really well prepared and seems to get the proper result.

At least the Germans provided us a nice back up with Pavard and the Spanish with Hernandez. Both should be starters over Mendy and Sidibé.
