I'm pretty sure that the Sharks are going to be back in the playoffs this year. Last year was just bizarre. Things should be back to normal now. More importantly, it looks like the Sharks are going to have a huge upgrade in net.

I honestly don't know what to think of the West in terms of playoff contenders. I would honestly be shocked if the Pacific have more than 2-3 teams in the playoffs. I think the Central will be more of a Thunderdome with a side of Mr. Toads wild ride than it was last year, but I don't really see the pacific teams managing to squeak out more points when the entire division minus phx has gotten better. I think the Ducks will win the Pacific and either the Sharks or Flames will be a 6-8th seed with the other teams all being Central

You know this big suspension for him should have happened years ago after the Hossa hit in the playoffs. The fact that both he has continued with bad hits and that teams still sign him after how many suspensions for shit like this? This latest suspension pretty much ends his career though so there is that.

it doesnt kick in unless he's on a team too so that'a plus. I'm a fan of big hits, and I feel there's been a lot of clean hits taken out after some of the rules, but he is a straight up head hunter. Every hit is late and high.

Man, hockeystreams seems so unreliable. I was thinking of signing up this year but I just can't trust it to be reliable when I need it to be.

I'm giving Gamecenter Live a shot (did a monthly sign up to test). I have a paid VPN I already subscribe to for the purpose of anonymous internet browsing, so I used that to sign up with an 'international' account and we will see how it goes. NHL blackout rules are nuts in Canada. You can't get any nationally televised games on Gamecenter (which equals a lot of games in this market) and you can't get any regionally televised games (and the regions they set are ridiculous). I love how you can live in Manitoba, for example, and be blacked-out of any Oilers/Flames games. That's two provinces over...
