Boring game imo, but it was to be expected. City has the ball more, but that's not what they prefer, they can't play the possession game with a midfield like this, and now that Silva is gone... And it's not in Madrid's interests to have the initiative either, especially since Ronaldo. Bad thing for them is that apparently he will probably miss the 2nd leg as well.

Unless someone makes a very big mistake or somehow Bale/Marcelo or De Bruyne/Aguero create a goal out of nowhere, we'll have a 0-0. Or someone scores and it'll go EPL crazy with people running everywhere xD

At that point I wonder if it's even beneficial for City to push for a 1-0. No Ronaldo in Madrid means they could play the draw with goals...

Game is even as it gets, Real don't want to lose and City do not want to lose. No risks yet, it is the semi final you are not gonna get any! I am enjoying the tactical battle of Casemiro shutting down City offense and Fernando and Fernandinho holding off Real Madrid's attacks.

If there was no European Championship this year, I'm sure he would play that 2nd leg. But with a 0-0 before Madrid, and still a big chance to qualify, I'm not sure he would risk it. He'd probably start on the bench at least.
