ManUtd at least has the absurd amount of money available to come back to CL but if Arsenal miss out CL 2-3 years then top4 is probably over for them forever

I'm starting to think we weren't playing for the win in the first place. Not to take anything away from BVB, since they've been clearly outplaying us, but still. We look like we're playing from 5 goals ahead or something, just not even really trying.

Honestly, just about anyone with a physical presence and positioning. William Carvalho or one of the Bender bros would do just fine. Can't think of more off the top of my head, but it's mind-boggling that we're in absolute shit creek after two injuries.

That, coupled with the fact that most of our players are in awful form and still being stubbornly played by Wenger (mostly because we have no fucking back-ups), with the glaring example being Mesut Özil, who needs to be benched for Cazorla ASAP. Wenger's just trying to it a basket of round balls into a square hole with this cluster-fuck of a formation.

At least he's making some early subs, but it's like we don't give a fuck about tactic in any game and are caught out for it. We'll come second in the group again before being stomped out by Bayern in the Ro16 as usual. I'm so tired of the old man, now. I just want this era to end.

Özil is... well, either a god or a nobody. He doesnt play good and sometimes brilliant,he plays aweful or godlike. And if they hadnt subbed him i wouldnt have even known he played at lol

Aye, playing with Özil these days is like playing with ten men. Couple that with Wenger's insistence to not play with more than one pacey winger and instead push Özil out to the wing which I assume is because he played there for Germany. He was dire then, too. Someone said we have the three shit Germans and, while mean, it's true on these days (with Özil hilariously out of form). Mertesacker was only ever working due to having Kosc next to him, and Podolski has always been like having a glass cannon (shit during the games, but best finisher of the entire squad). Hell, I was against signing Özil. I was still fucking excited that we got one of the best 10s in the world on his day, but we didn't need him as Cazorla had come off a sensational season and was by far out´r best player. So both had to fit in, which shafted Cazorla hard.

Winning the cup was the perfect final chapter. Wenger ending the trophy drought and riding off into the sunset with Yaya Sanogo. But he's still here, and I'm almost past caring. It just hurts so much watching this team. Fuck building on last season, plus a few good transfers (Sanchez is a great it, for one) and a great manager could have us challenging for the title. But we're stuck with the same old man and the same old shit. Sigh...
