It's all I have atm. Mertesacker is still hung-over from the WC win, and since we didn't go buy a DM this window, we've decided to keep sucking at defending counters. I'm absolutely fuming. Even picking Mertesacker over Chambers when we're facing a team that's basically Fifa-style pace abuse is astounding.

They need to score 1 soon and then its more relaxed for Arsenal i think. The high tempo is going to cost BvB in the last 10 minutes.

I feel you, i am an Arsenal fan ( not when they are playing BvB but else) way back from the Henry times. Sadly i am not that much in touch with english football anymore, but from what i read Arsenal has some injuries im the defense right? 1-3-0 isnt too impressive for their premier league plays till now but i had the impression they were doing quite ok who would you have liked to buy this window?

Honestly, just about anyone with a physical presence and positioning. William Carvalho or one of the Bender bros would do just fine. Can't think of more off the top of my head, but it's mind-boggling that we're in absolute shit creek after two injuries. That, coupled with the fact that most of our players are in awful form and still being stubbornly played by Wenger (mostly because we have no fucking back-ups), with the glaring example being Mesut Özil, who needs to be benched for Cazorla ASAP. Wenger's just trying to it a basket of round balls into a square hole with this cluster-fuck of a formation. At least he's making some early subs, but it's like we don't give a fuck about tactic in any game and are caught out for it. We'll come second in the group again before being stomped out by Bayern in the Ro16 as usual. I'm so tired of the old man, now. I just want this era to end.

If its that bad after 2 injuries then someone really fucked up by not getting some good backups. Imagnie them with 4,5 or 6 starters missing. Özil is... well, either a god or a nobody. He doesnt play good and sometimes brilliant,he plays aweful or godlike. And if they hadnt subbed him i wouldnt have even known he played at lol I understand people being sick of Wenger, i think winning the english cup kind of saved him. I'm nostalgic thinking about Wemger leaving but then again the team could use a fresh hand maybe
