R.Madrid is the team that more money wasted on transfers in this 7 years in he world. And R.Madrid can't change of president because nobody has money to compete with him. Actualy it's 2 CL and 3 La Liga in 12 years for Perez. Also Real can get rid of him at the next elections. As long as there are other candidates... Last time there were none. The elections will be in 2017, if Florentino doesn't win a couple of titles until then, he will not be the next president.

I was talking about his last term, but yes, the first one was equally bad. The problem is that he manages R.Madrid as one of his companies, only looking for profit and expanding R.Madrid image (he is very good at that) but he is terrible building a stable project. He fired del bosque and sold Makelele because they were not "galacticos". On May 18 2015 22:05 RvB wrote: How trustworthy is that? I can't imagine Real Madrid wanting Mourinho back, he didn't do well for all the time he spent there. I think it is false. Why would Perez contact Mourinho, when he is in bad terms with most of the players of the team, including Ronaldo.

Article of interest Real Madrid confirmed in Pot 2 for next season's Champions League group stage Real Madrid could be paired with another European heavyweight in the group stage of next season's Champions League after they became the biggest losers in UEFA's seeding rule changes. The dethroned European champions will be placed in Pot 2 in the draw for the opening round of Europe's premier competition, leaving them open to a pairing with Bayern Munich or Chelsea. Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain, Zenit St Petersburg and PSV Eindhoven are their other potential opponents So pot 1 = all domestic champions of Germany/England/Spain/Russia/Portugal/Netherlands/France/Italy pot 2/3/4 = seeded order of coefficient ranks Hahaha champions league group stage going to have like 4 groups of deaths and like 4 easy groups what a joke xD Bayern Munich Real Madrid Man City pot 4 team Barcelona Arsenal Napoli pot 4 team Juventus Man Utd Sevilla pot 4 team Loool wow possibilities are endless. Every pot 2 team going to be begging to get into PSV group XD

If it can actually help a dominant Ajax to keep some of its player it'd be good for the Eredivisie but I doubt it.

They are just going to be moved from the late knockout stages to the group stage and round of 16. And a semi final of Basel vs PSV would be good for a few laughs.

PSV Bayer Levekusen Ajax Pot 4 team Benfica Valencia Shakthar Donnesk pot 4 team Zenit Valencia/Bayer Leverkusen Olympiacos Pot 4 team Rather dull 3 groups with nothing interesting unless your a fan of said club. Then you start bringing fairness into it. Real are top of the club rankings but are now in pot 2. PSV are 30th and in pot 1. Yet the PSV group could find themselves in the RO16 and you could see Real finishing 3rd if something went wrong in a group of death for them Oh yeah the Napoli thing xD I thought 4 spots in Serie A oops. They still have a "chance" to pip Lazio to 3rd place but its a long shot

Considering how structured the draw is it won't be too much random anyway. Just taking Pande example: you can't have PSV/Ajax in the same group iirc. You could already have dumb groups (benfica/zenith/schalke/monaco) or death groups (Man City group basically), which are still better than 1 big club and 3 fillers imo. The only weird thing would be one or two upsets in the big leagues (like Wolfsburg + Lyon champion) and then you get at least 5 top clubs in the second pot and things can be explosive. On May 18 2015 23:25 Pandemona wrote: Whilst i can agree with that to an extent, dont you want to see Barcelona vs Chelsea or Real Madrid vs Bayern in the knock out stages rather than PSV vs Barcelona one way stomps. Also this competition is the best of the best vs eachother i agree but if they want it that way, why let 3rd and 4th place teams into the competition in the first place then and just have it as the "champions league" in the first place lol. I'd love to get the real C1 back and an exciting C2. But it's never gonna happen. And you already had 1 or 2 "average" team in the pot 1. Porto/Benfica this year ie.

That article says it all. To sum it up it was caused by some stupid border-line hooliganism by Benfica Supporters... Every club has them, and as we are a big club we have more of them. But in the end it was all triggered by some unjustified police brutality. All in all it was a great day and Benfica won 2 back to back championships which didn't happen since Erickson coached the club ![]() Still you can find some beautiful pictures from the party on the streets of Lisbon on the daily mail article.

The best 16/8 teams should make it to the 2nd round/QF, not 16/8 random teams. With this system, 2nd round and quarter finals will generally be much more one-sided, while only a couple of groups will be interesting. The weaker groups will not attract much attention anyway, since people know the advancing teams will be eliminated shortly. So the only exciting matches left will be semifinal/final and those 2 strong groups without Barca/Real/Bayern.

The only difference is that they can now get in a group of death as well instead of ajax being in one every year. Seeds are a way to give the good clubs another advantage they don't really need.
