Frankly the higher tier of English football is pretty loose and jaded this year. Teams have been so disorganized and been taken by the occasion so often. So much kick and rush among top teams and no one trying to control the tempo of the game in possession or trying to ride out a bad period by slowing it down. Because playing it down the flank and using afroman for knockdowns is so much simpler. Look if you feel like this way of playing gets you places and is impressive. Thats great, good for you. But my belief is it wont get you very far in Europe, not often anyway. Besides I didnt say United was playing poorly or anything so I dont get whats so upsetting. The Liverpool, Villa and City games are the first time Ive seen United play good football all year. Like impressive football. And Ashley Young has looked like the best player alot of the time. But lets be honest. Its Ashley Young and hes going to start pissing himself at some point. Quote me on it. Its not even like he has quality on either foot. He needs to cut and if teams are letting him cut to put good balls in thats pretty sad for said team. Again if you think that way of playing gets you places great. Still if you think Man City were not god awful and mentally shot after the second went in then your in some weird denial space and getting horny about a team thats not as good as you think it is. Even Liverpool since the turn of the year had their run and looked like a killer team. They are not. Form ebbs and flows and \this is clearly United on a high. But playing out of your skin for a few weeks doesnt make you a good team. Look at the season on a whole thats what tells you where you are. Still if all it takes is a good run to get your dick hard and panties in a twist every time someone criticizes them I cant imagine how bad people like you will be if they actually start winning again. Atleast Arsenal fans enjoy their yearly run of form to a CL spot with some dignity and accept that they arent a champion team. Then again it took them quite a few years to figure that out. edit. The reason I respect Simeone is because he doesnt pretend to be anything more than he is and he doesnt try to make excuses for the way he plays and he understands its limitations. He also doesnt get to spend 200 mill on duds... http://www.espnfc.com/uefa-champions-league/story/2398174/diego-simeone-cristiano-ronaldo-right-real-madrid-players-more-talent-than-atletico-madrid-champions-league Wow, ok. Sorry but this is hilariously biased. United play "kick and rush" now? Have you watched a single game were played? Ashley young is going to "piss himself" at some point, what does this even mean? He's played in a title winning squad, you know that right? And that his way of playing isn't going to "get us places", well its been getting us in the best form of the league recently so im not sure what that's all about. Then, like usual, you go on about how we aren't good other teams are terrible. As a united fan im used to this, almost every year, especially the years we won the titles, we had oppo fans telling us we were terrible and would get "found out" ect. Then you tell us to look at were we are as a whole and say that tells us were we are. Ok lets play that game. We are 1 point away from second in the table, mathematically still title challengers (albeit dreaming if we think we have any chance of doing that) We started the season as 7th from the year previous, new manager, totally new style of play, had to replace the entire back 4 and the worst injury crisis I've ever seen at this club. We've come out, looking like we will be 2nd or 3rd, and playing some beautiful football while we are at it. That tells me exactly were we are. As for the "dick hard, panties in a twist comment" which is getting borderline personal, I was merely responding to someone who was being absurdly dismissive, hysterically tendentious and patronizing about our recent form on an open public forum which you know fans of all teams read (despite there obviously being a huge Chelsea love-in here ). If anything your the one with panties in a twist lol.

He was probably very tired of "topstars" sales. Lewandowski, Götze already gone. Hummels (ManU) and Gündogan (Atletico Madrid) probably this summer too. Everyone knows that BVB cant buy topstars (not enough money) and they dont want sale topstars (money from it is useless). Thats why they didnt sale Lewa (30m now or 0m next season, latter happened) or Reus (declined 50m by Real Madrid, 2 yrs ago) and they were very unhappy about 37m from Götze. I am sure they dont want to sale 50m for Hummels or 30m Gündogan. From financial aspect, BVB has this serious money-problem for 2 yrs.

I think when the guy after Klopp gets fired/retires the biggest mistake he made was succeeding the most successful coach in the club's history. Thank you Klopp, have an awesome time whereever you'll go. e: yo arsenal wanna switch?

Rooney has been pretty shit for all of them. with that spectacular turn and volley an exception, he's either lost for 80-90% of the game or keeps losing the ball. seems like pundits are largely in agreement that even though Rooney has been less 'present' in the games (game vs city was the manchester united game where rooney had the least touches, ever), his contribution has been immense, and it's been a deliberate, and successful move on van gaal's part. Basically, the last matches, Rooney has largely been holding up both center defenders, and he's an excellent player to use in this role because he's such a complete player. Like, many strikers who are played in similar roles have weaknesses that can be exploited, either they're too weak for duels, too slow for runs, too weak at the link up play, and the defenders can choose to only have one man marking them at times. With Rooney, he's so complete that he constantly holds up both center defenders meaning that the wingers have an easier time either getting a 2v1 or simply running past the full backs, and indeed, wing play has been one of United's strengths during their current win streak.

If anything your the one with panties in a twist lol. sigh.... Actually it was deprecating towards the league as whole. I didnt say United play kick and rush .. I saw they pretty much all do, and comparatively to other top teams in other leagues. So im not talking school playground here. Obviously context is hard to observe. Totally get though most United fans see red + Show Spoiler + (see what I did there, Again getting to where you are frankly for a club that prizes itself on the kind of quality it has had in the past is a bit of an underachievement. The Chilean over there was presto league title. He had a "new everything" to. + Show Spoiler + (lets be honest United even when they were good were able to pull out wins playing like shit but atleast they could play some nice football too) Now the whole season is not just the league there were other competitions too and even if it was just the league, frankly if you arent a title contender in a rather pissy season for everyone except Chelsea.. then you pretty much had a mediocre season. You want to talk new manager new style of play yaddaa yadaa yadaa ... look at the amount of sheer coin thats been dropped and tell me with a straight face that this team is playing worth the amount of pounds in it. Give me a break, "ohh look at us coming of a 7th place finish." I feel so bad for you. It must be so hard being Manchester United because they came 7th one season. I have no bias against any English team. I couldnt give two shits who wins and I would love for all of the top teams to do well and more importantly play with quality. It means I get to watch better teams play. If you think being like 6 points behind the team leading in the league, your toughest run of games to come and 0 other achievement all season is uhmmm "going places" well then good for you. I cant say much to that. If you think a good run of form to get to those places means your team has turned it around and is now a top team. Again good for you. You now know exactly how Arsenal fans feel season after season. Congratulations. If you are going to call someone out for bias atleast give me a reason why I am biased, perhaps because you find it hilarious ?
