I hope Destro isn't the option we go for and it is someone who can give competition to Costa. Cavani would make me uncontrollable but i dont think it will be him. Torres will score 30+ goals this season and Costa will be a bust. Called it On the Bayern Alonso signeing tweet if he wouldnt be good at football Alonso would be the best at picking up women left and right. Dat smile.
He probably is already. It's probably not hard to get girls when you're a rich and famous footballer.

Well it seems Clasie has extended his contract with Feyenoord so no transfer to FCPorto.
The team has plenty of midfielders so no worries, although a great player like Clasie would always be welcome. Maybe next year when Casemiro's loan finishes

He scored in every single matchup of the knockout stage - no one player carried the team because RM basically raped everyone last year. What are you talking about? Who exactly was even comparable last year?

Yeah, I was pretty happy to hear the news haha. Porto has enough midfielders . Btw according to rumours we made Clasie the best payed player in the eredivisie, it's not much less than what BMI and De Vrij are earing at their clubs. Our management just wouldn't let our last star leave.

Raped? Are you serious? Stop analyzing results and look at the actual games... Against Dortmund, they scored on Dortmund's mistakes and they got raped tactically on the second leg and almost had to go to extra time. Against Bayern they just won 1-0 at home and scored 2 headers in 20 minutes on the second leg. Call that 4-0 a rape if you want but the score was totally inflated by the fact that Bayern couldn't tie the qualification after 20 minutes... And the final they, again, got raped tactically and miraculously won the CL after equalizing at the last minute on a header.
Ronaldo goals in the knockout phase: - Finals: penalty for the 4th goal (he even dove to get it and then celebrated it like he just won the game for his team) - Semi finals: 3 and 4-0 on the second leg - Quarter finals: 3-0 goal on the first leg - Round of 16: 3-0 goal 6-0 goal and then goal on the second leg when the tie was over long before
How is that being decisive?
I don't like Madrid and I don't like Ronaldo for what they represent, but objectively speaking, how can you give the player of the year award to CR when he didn't pass the groupstage in the World Cup and he wasn't even that decisive in the CL? How about Di Maria that was MVP in the CL and one of the best in the WC too? How about German players like Lahm and Neuer? They're just giving him trophies to satisfy his ego, and even after that he has the balls to say this kind of thing about Messi...

WillyWanker hates Real Madrid and Cristiano Ronaldo more than i do hate Pep, I respect that.
Remy to Chelsea is very disappointing indeed.

he smashed the single season goalscoring record which is impressive regardless of how important you think his goals were.
the dortmund tie and CL final were very close but the bayern tie was a rape any way you look at it, not being able to defend two set pieces and getting run over with 2 more goals looks like a rape to me. the final penalty, i dunno maybe a dive? but even if he exaggerated on the contact it was still a legit penalty iirc (though the ref didn't need to give it since it was in the dying minutes and they were up 3-0 already). you're talking here as if all of their victories were handed to them by their opponents rather than RM actually winning - which, like, is really grasping at straws.
throughout the season he was the best player on a loaded RM team, and the difference between him and messi was that his team actually won major trophies - barcelona didn't win anything (outside of the preseason supercopa)!
you can say that overall, all-time messi is #1 and ronaldo is #2 and i would agree with you, but the point is ronaldo had the better season (although i do think the gap between the two is smaller than you'd like to believe). you can hate him too for his ego, but there are plenty of top athletes across all sports who talk a lot of shit (messi does it too, open your eyes) and think they're the best. it's normal, and even if you're not outwardly expressive of that you certainly have to believe it, otherwise you wouldn't be at the top. i differ from you about what the team stands for as i don't really care about that, i care more about watching good football and RM and ronaldo were, for the most part, impressive and exciting to watch this season (as were bayern last season, pep's barcelona teams, blah blah blah).
edit: i used my 1000th post to defend ronaldo and real madrid, dafuq is going on

What's the point of buying a guy who will get injured soon anyway? :p

User was warned for this post Why is Remy to Chelsea disappointing? I have faith that Mourinho knows what he is doing, though Remy failing a medical at Liverpool is a cause for worry.
The only flop I can remember Mou purchasing was Kezman.

We should do something good with this: For every post about Ronaldo <=> Messi you have to donate 10 Euro to a english amateur football club youth devision. Because by now we will have fixed stuff like war or hunger or education for everyone wayyyy before the English national team stops to suck.
On topic: Neither Ronaldo nor Messi deserved it because Neuer did. He lifted his position to a whole new level.

Top banter mate, haha.
I wouldn't hate on either of them tbh. No matter how you look at it messi is clearly the better player but cristiano has pushed so much, cristiano scores on average more than other top strikers on their best seasons. He has scored more than shevchenko, ibra, rvp, raul, ronaldo, batistuta, nistelrooy in their best seasons. So for that he deserves respect because if messi didn't exist he would be the best in the world and an all time great.
Both of them also get so much hate for being the best that's unreal. Just wait to see if one of them or both fail to get the CL this season, the whole press will label them as past-their-prime or something.

You bring up an interesting point the one "who agaes better". I guess it could be Messi because he could play me of a midfield position and lifes more of his ball handling then his athletic abilitys but i could be wrong. But it will be intersting to see if they are able to keep their effectivenes, guys like Ribery or Ibra shown that you can still be productive or even better after your 30th birthday.

Blind for 18m euros seems a bit steep. I imagine Ajax are pretty happy with that.

feels like a lot considering how cheap eredivisie sells players

I'm not saying that Messi had a better season, on the contrary I'm defending the Germans for once xD The trophy was for the whole season, including the World Cup. Explain to me how Ronaldo had a better season than the Germans that play in Bayern and won the WC...
