this is what i dont get. why did the 76ers draft payton and then just trade him for saric when they could have just drafted saric in the first place? if its just a straight up trade then the 76ers are fucking dumb and its not like the rookie wage between 10 and 12 pick is huge.

oh ya and the raptors continue to fuck up drafts. complete unknown player? grats. this guy better turn out to be the next michael jordan.

It's nt straight up and was probably conditional on Saric being there. Also Denver probably wasn't going to try to stash him after just trading for Afflalo and looking to win now. Saric not a threat at 11 leads to the trade opening up.

i still fail to see how its worth their while to do this and not just draft a player that they like. like what are they really going to get? an extra pick that really wont mean anything? 76ers arent really in a position to waste picks like that, they need help like everywhere.

saric wont even come over in at least 1-2 years. complete waste.
