Nah, most of their money is locked up in like PG and Hibbert, and I think both were justifiably worth more. They might be able to squeeze him in- i forget their exact cap room- but I think some team's gonna offer him more.
I think he's fine, it's just that with everyone on the Pacers suddenly struggling to put the ball in the bucket they're relying on him to do more, to downgrade his worth suddenly because of a couple of bad games would be short-sighted.

Such low point games in Pacers v Wizards, the defense is real

The Pacers were actually playing solid defense the parts of the game I watched. Don't know what the Pacer's offense excuse is though.

Flop City in fine form today.
What an awful franchise.

Westbrook show baby. Hope you guys listened to me earlier (you guys never do).
Someone has been in the ear of WB and Durant and told them to pass more. No shock that it's working.
I had to lol when the Clips kept giving up the same elbow jumper to Ibaka over and over. And people laud their defence now. -__-

I'm sorry sir, only elite towel wavers are allowed in this nightclub.

I missed both games but I heard although CP3 was great, he really cost the Clippers since he deferred too much to JC in the 4th? Lots of people are angry at Chris for being passive instead of going hero mode down the stretch. Also something about Ibaka having 5 fouls, Blake chewing him up and them not going back to it. Detail me plz bros.

Blake attacked Ibaka early, got him into foul trouble 4 minutes in, and that was the story of Ibaka's first half. Second half Blake was still going at him from time to time, but Ibaka just gave up the buckets (I remember two different plays where Blake literally pushes him off the block, but Ibaka just stands straight up giving up the bucket instead of trying for the block).
Jamal took WAYYYY too many shots in the fourth, but if he was cold, JJ was fucking absolute zero (only made one shot, which ironically was a fucking hard running three pointer with 4 seconds left in the fourth, so it didn't really matter), so I guess that's why Crawford played most of the fourth.
Matt Barnes did acceptably against Durant, and he was being used as the three pointer bail out guy (when JJ wasn't in), and was bricking.
DJ was DJ, though he wasn't as effective as usual.
Collison is entirely useless against OKC, their guards are way too big.
Dudley made a shot.
Big Baby got tons of stupid fouls.
Blake gets an A+ for effort, he was getting mauled by Ibaka, Adams, Perkins, and still managed the line he did (even had two key blocks).
CP3 passive in the fourth is true, I can barely remember anything he did in the fourth, other than an ill-advised stepback three during crunch time that failed hard.
It was a good game, easily the best of the second round, go watch it.

Ibaka is such a myth defensively.
He's a typical 'gets awesome block so must be a good defender' guy. His one-on-one defense is awful and always has been. Blake is killing him.
Ibaka's really just a stronger David Lee. But maybe that's a tad harsh .

I don't know; I think general rim protection is as important, it not more, than one on one defense. Griffin is one of the few post players capable of scoring 30.

It's funny how we dissect and analyze every little bit of the game, but, in the end, it comes down to just a couple of shots difference.
Yeah, a distributing Westbrook is pretty scary. Still, they are getting almost all of their production from 5 guys. As much as I'd like to see the Clippers win, we've been talking about a Spurs-OKC rematch for 2 years now. It would be a little bit of a shame not to get it. What do you mean, the Westbrook headlines?
I really think WB has imposed his will athletically out there last 2 games but I don't think ESPN will be talking about that, which is why I even mentioned/hinted it before the game. I have all 3 games of this series right so far btw (I got Indy right last nite too) --I prop bet WB goes over 22-8-8 too which was risky but fun/nice.
And the thing about this series (and why I series-bet against the Clips, though I change game to game) is that even if the Clippers have the better overall team, their best player is still only 6 feet tall and slightly injured. Meanwhile, OKC has the 2nd best player on the planet and a PG that's already more athletic (and also very skilled) than even a fully-healthy CP3. Just a great matchup.

Just watched the Bad Boys 30 for 30 and it's easy to forget how good Laimbeer was. Absolutely an asshole and thug, but he was also a 10/10 guy for most of his career and averaged 17/13 at his peak, while playing excellent (dirty) defense. I guess he got overshadowed because he was so dirty and because Rodman became the best rebounder/defender in the NBA, but Laimbeer would've been the best on most teams.
Plus doing it in the second greatest era for centers.

ESPN had a headline up about OKC winning with about 3 seconds left in the game. Not very risky, but funny.

I do not think that CP3 has been passive, instead, this was the story. He really can only compete in this series if he is ridiculously hot like he was in G1, or if the refs bail him out (which will be hard since Westbrook is fairly good at flopping as well). There was a play with a few minutes left in the game where Westbrook just abused CP3 with a spin move and dunked on air before any of the Clippers could rotate.
The other story of this series is that Blake punched himself in the face to try and get a foul call.

So Blake Griffin = Jim Carrey in Liar Liar?

Damn that is such a weak flagrant. Now it's a 3 point play AND they get the ball back.

16 points. First quarter.

Why are the Heat's starters still in this game? In like 2 possessions a smart Jason Kidd will send in a D-Wade/LBJ/Bosh Knee assassin.
