Good start for OKC, 10 FT's to 0 put Spurs in a big hole early and got OKC going. Finally halfway through the second one finally gets called. Crowd goes nuts, Adams acts like he's been cuckolded. It's not just the points either, OKC get significantly more possessions in transition whilst Spurs are playing vs a set defence that much more.
Nice to see Spurs eventually got some calls once the margin was wide enough. Kept it looking nice and balanced. Last 2 games have had massive FT disparities excluding garbage time.
I knew Ibaka would have a huge effect but couple that with WB's ability to steal the ball whilst out of bounds and it feels like the Spurs have to somehow beat two big 3's to win this series.

The negative nancy is strong in some of you.
OKC was no chance after two games and now the Spurs are gone.
All these silly predictions are terrible for the thread. Just terrible.

OKC had 21 fast break points, SA had none. We've seen this before.

Spurs shot 35% in the regular season with Serge on the court and once again their offense is a shadow of its former self with him in the paint. Can't buy a trip to the line either.

It's a pretty big change when you think Ibaka is out for the rest of the playoffs, then he magically is healthy again... that probably will change a lot of predictions.
|
I mean based on the fact that OKC is 2-0 now when they are at full strength should make them heavy favorites right? In the way they have won. Does not mean SA is completely out of it, thats just silly. Still got home court

With a full team I would have slightly favored OKC. Their athleticism, especially Westbrook, is hard to deal with. Combine that with the fact that the Spurs play like poop in OKC, it looks bad right now.

There is no momentum game to game in a playoff series. It will probably a very close 7 game series. I want OKC to win, but I still think the spurs have a slight edge because they are way better coached.

After Ibaka was cleared for Game 3 people were still talking about how he wasn't good enough to make up for 30+ point blowouts. Myself included.

Spurs will win this series. They're just in a weird shooting funk.

The fact that the all-backup lineup did a lot better than the starters last game made it clear to me at least that it's not some insurmountable lack of talent, they just need to hit their jumpers and rotate better.
Also Scott Brooks playing Westbrook for 47 minutes last night was fucking retarded.

Somewhat shocked by how much quicker Hill looks than Chalmers. He's playing some statuesque defense.

Meh, they had to win and he was on. Gotta ride that pony while it's hot.

What's the opposite of a receding hairline, a proceeding one? Because I think Paul George has one.

I understand keeping him in once the bench cut it down to like 10 or whatever but if it looks like a blowout then there's no reason to keep him in.

Yeah, I just don't get how the Grizzlies and Clippers can give OKC all they can handle and need some breaks to escape and the far superior Spurs have such problems. Although there was a stat from Game 3 that was like, the Spurs had 42 open shots and only made 13.

Someone look for a guy in the stands wearing a trench coat and a wide brimmed hat. LeBron has had his powers stolen.
EDIT: Wow Miami misses Birdman on these defensive post possessions and on the glass.

When does Lebron come back in with his 5? Six minutes left? Less/more?
Part of me wants to say he's going to come back in and close the series out with a monster 4th, but the way this game is going he's just as likely to pick up number 6 in his first 30 seconds on the floor.
