Last euoprean championship a skater was DQ'ed for showing two middle fingers at the leading skater. It was a bit weird, as he was DQ'ed from th overall ranking, but not from the team race in which it happened. But still. Unsportsmanlike conduct can lead to DQ... and showing a middle finger is at least without any dangers or even the intention to damage your opponent and change the result of the race... unlike what had happened here | ||

Also, the CBC commentators keep referencing to the Russian team as "the Koreans" - probably force of habit xD | ||
