Just read it. It's obviously meant to be polarizing, but I found myself agreeing with some of the author's thoughts. Rose definitely won't be commentating/analyzing games on TV when he is done playing =P.

how is spurs bench tied with GS lol

Well they did the same to Miami last season..I'm beyond being surprised by anything they do.
3 Australians started this game, gotta be a record :D

LOL at Pop's and Ginobili's faces at that airball

Goddamn it Curry, it was a 3 on 1 and you blew it. There is no way the Warriors will make the playoffs with this type of defense and 20+ turnovers.
|
What a block by diaw, and god damn curry shooting threes is so wet.

Spurs are just robots. Sadly, the warriors are anything but.

Play starters for 40 minutes, lose to Spurs bench.

so the dubs at home, with a full squad, just lost to spurs with no parker, manu or timmy wow.

Turnovers, turnovers, and turnovers. It's pathetic...
The Warriors need consistency and better discipline on the floor. That means don't pass inside a crowded post and drive it in for a layup. Spurs bench played with 200% effort and didn't whine when the ball was in play.

Lee played a superb game tonight, sadly Klay was just appauling.

Marc Jackson needs to make a decision to move Klay to the bench or not. It's clear that Klay will not shoot his way out of this horrible slump. I want shooting consistency from him and smart defense.
Curry can't do everything to carry the team. For god sakes, Warriors need to do something at the deadline for their mediocre bench.

David Lee with some more nice help defense:

Yeh, he definitely needs help as far as someone who can handle the ball and make plays is concerned. Iguodala can do that of course, but another guy coming in off the bench like Jack did last year, would be great for the warriors, even though he was criticized for his hero ball ways. That's why I was interested when I heard GSW being mentioned in the sweepstakes for Kyle Lowry. If they would just stop fucking turning the ball over, maybe they'd be ok!

Lee was great tonight until the fourth. He was gassed it looked like and made some lazy defensive plays. Wasn't a factor offensively down the stretch but he kept the Dubs in it earlier when Klay and Steph were struggling.
This game really show the difference between a team with depth and structure and one that's 'just allowed to play'.
Barnes is regressing which is really disappointing so far this year. Even when Iggy out for so long he just hasn't been able to impact games at all. I'm on the fence about his ceiling. He's the sort of guy I wouldn't be opposed to moving now if the right deal presented itself.
Looks like the Dubs are really missing the structure that Malone provided them last year. MJ is a greated man manager and motivator but he still has a bit to learn about actually coaching the basketball side of things. It's frustrating that the Dubs continue to make the same mistakes over and over but they are improving with Iggy back.
|
Oh and the Dubs were ripped on the Splitter tip. Bogues was fouled on the rebound and that ball was still on the cylinder.
But it's all academic--it wasn't what cost them. Turnovers were the story (again) for the Dubs this game.

Lakers signed Kendall Marshall...I hope they sign up Curry's brother too. I mean he can't be that bad righttt?

Went to the Warriors game last night, 2nd NBA game ever, first one being a Warriors-Pistons game as a kid but I barely remember it. The atmosphere was great. People were always so disappointed when klay (who was playing like crap) and steph missed their 3s. I was actually quite surprised at the booing during free throws against the other team. Save the last couple of minutes of the 4th, the stadium was loudest during Spurs' free throws lol.
I expected a Warriors blow out, but that depth in the Spurs bench! Dubs really needa get their shit together. They were so sloppy and undisciplined, really unacceptable if they wanna be contenders in the West.
