He was just horrible for Benfica. This game was quite surprising.
At least we're playing like last year again. Europa League run again!
It's not just this game, he makes all these ridiculous saves week in week out. He's phenomenal for us.
Btw Anderlecht is gunning for you now, that draw in paris puts them right in the 3rd place chase.
Oh now you're just being condescending. Playing like last night we should beat Anderlecht and give PSG a run for their money at home.
Roberto really blew donkey balls in Benfica. He was particularly bad defending crosses. They even made a song about it: (frango means chicken, it's what we call crappy gks).

Selling our best players every year -.-. If we still had Eriksen (and less notably Alderweireld), I think we'd be favorites for second place in the group.
We're in kind of a transition period anyway. There's talks of huge amount of talent coming up from the youth academy but they're 16-18 years old so it'll take a few years before we can reap the rewards of that.
And the team is very much out of form. We haven't won any of our last 3 Eredivisie games.

About damn time they did. They may be that pot 2 team that no one wants to play (or the one that everyone wants to play, due to their shaky defense) like Real Madrid was last year.
Don´t know about that. I still think ManCity is massively overrated in the CL. Their offensive guys like Dzeko, Kun or Nasri just doesn't do enough defensive work and their goal keeping... well not a lot to say about that the last weeks. After seeing what Bayern did to them 85 minutes at home they just doesn't look scary to teams like Barca, Real or Dortmund.
I think the "2nd placer that no one likes to play" will be either Donetzk, Juventus or the second of the Dortmund/Napoli/Arsenal group.
city is such an on/off team.. bayern, and to some degree barca real and dortmund, seem to always be on. I don't think city's top level is much worse than any of those 4, but their bottom level is way, way below. if you first watched their game against united this season (4-1 for city) and then the loss against aston villa 6 days later, it's almost kinda difficult to believe the same team was playing. of course, they seem to be rotating a lot, and while I'm not gonna look too much into it, they seem much better when aguero is playing. ;p
Yeah exactly right there for me Drone. I have no idea why City are so inconsistent, i guess it might stem to them having defensive issues all season and Goal keeper problems. But still, they should be walking the premier league right now with their squad as they have Aguero who just doesn't play badly at all it seems. Makes me so bitter that as he should be playing for Chelsea
I can't see them turning it on for 2 leg games in the knock out stages either, but im sure most teams would not like to play them.
Juventus vs Real Madrid Highlights in HD - Looked an awesome game i had to go out last night so i missed it, Ronaldo setting up Bale again is serious business xD Those two connecting could be devestating combo. Also Pogba is a fucking insane talent, WTF at Yanited selling him, jesus christ. + Show Spoiler +

bayern have not been playing brilliantly yesterday either. they have always been on/off. no team in the world isnt. the trick is to have your off days when it doesnt matter ( see barcas terrible group stage performances in the cl in the past)
Yeah Drone did say that, but when City play shit, they lose 2-1 to Villa and play like shite vs Cardiff and lose 2-1. Bayern don't lose (or i can't remember last time they did )
I agree with Pande, every team has off days but it's about being capable of winning those off days that sets apart the class teams. Look at Madrid yesterday, did nothing right and yet came away with a tie against the Italian champions.
