I like how both teams have injured players that can play like 1 week after without anything in next matches. Not sure if they are pushing themselves too far but then again it's a Champions League Final and then followed by a World Cup. I guess there could be players that play in the final but won't in the WC but I'm not hoping for that to happen.

Diego Costa made a 1 day trip to Bulgaria to get a treatment with horse placenta from a miracle doctor... if he plays it will be eastern dark witchery
The general consensus here is that Pepe from real, and Costa from Atletico will miss the match, Arda should be fine, and Ronaldo will play even if he has to get out in stretchers.

salteador is just super pro-barca
Yep I am, but in this case it's just a memory thing imo. It tends to exaggerate things that happened.
I legit thought it was a super obvious offside all this time xD And now I can just see it's actually a really close call.

it's ok i understand, sports are way more fun and exciting when viewed through biased glasses
ronaldo will start, no? everything i've read says he will be match fit and that costa and arda will both be left out?
ideally they will all play, this is a final ffs

Afaik Arda is fine so he will play.
I'm 50% on Costa but if he can barely play I think he might too, then get subbed whenever he can't go on anymore (like against Barça). Same with Ronaldo.

Actually he went to Serbia(west of Bulgaria). This serbian "healer" is actually quite popular and many athletes go there to seek help. I don't know if it helps at all, but we will see on Saturday, I guess.

Yeah many athletes go, just hope he doesnt break and we lose him for WC, he is our newest toy this year.

REDKNAPP: Atletico Madrid are an incredible side, really. Most teams that get to a Champions League final are filled with big-name players but Atletico are like a band of brothers who have been pulled together. They've got a determined mentality and a South American-Spanish attitude: they can be nasty if they need to be and mix it with the physical sides but they can also play lovely football. They're a fantastic football side - and their starting XI against Chelsea in the semi-final cost less than £30m. This final really is the princes v the paupers.
Atletico Madrid fighting!!~~

Anyone pumped for today's final?
Me not really... All my focus lies on the world cup now.
|
Not really. I have a feeling that i will be sad at the end of the game because the awesomely choached team lost against the unlimited money fm cheat team.

I'm not cheering for any team I just want to see a damn good game of football tonight that gets me even more pumped for the World Cup.

Same here, really hope my brain is wrong but I think it's not even going to be close.

I hope Real Madrid Wins, just because when Di Maria transfered from Benfica to Real the deal was made on the following bases:
25M€ base 5M € after 20 or more games in the first season at the club (Done) 5M € after 1 league title in the first 3 seasons at the club (Done) 1M € after 1 Champions League title in the first 5 seasons at the club (pending)
So today i'm a Real aficionado. Even if it's only 1M€. For Benfica that's a lot of money
(Benfica already won 1M today with the David Luiz Deal to PSG, plus 2M€ for the Final in Estadio da Luz (plus indirect profits that could come from Benfica's merchandise that can be sold), so today is a good day )

I hope we get a good game with some spectacular plays regardless of who was a shitload of money and who is still allowed to competed with an abysmal debt.

I'm looking for a goodgame and no injuries before world cup. I hope atletico wins this one, showing everyone can get this trophy with the bucks!
