Sorry to bring that one up No team can cruise past Chelsea. They ALWAYS deliver and are almost unbeatable in knockout games. I think Barca and Bayern would rather face each other than Chelsea,
Absolutely stunning performance by Dortmund today. They utterly dominated Real Madrid today when they had every excuse to capitulate. I couldn't fucking believe what I was watching. I've hardly seen Real dominated so completely. A scoreline of 5-0 would not have been flattering for Dortmund, they were that good. It's a miracle Real are through after that game.
I see a lot of comments blaming Miki for that loss but I don't think it's fair. He had a great game outside of his finishing. Obviously that needs to improve but that is largely a matter of confidence, not ability. He has shown he has the skill to play and that is far more difficult to improve on then the confidence to finish. Give him some time and he will be a really fantastic player.
Really a surprising performance to me. Dortmund looked done after the first leg but they fought to the end today. Can be proud of that if you are a Dortmund fan.
So apparently Mourinho didn't run to the corner post in celebration, he just used the fact that all the players were in one place so he could whisper instructions to all of them. And he knew he could get away with it because 'celebration'.

I want rematch with them Germans who think they all that Was a great game in the Super Cup final, i'll take them on in 2 legs, plus if we lose to them wouldn't be as bad as to losing to Bale and Ronaldo (imo).
Be great fun semi finals anyway god dammit so happy. Awesome games all around by the l ooks of it, Chelsea one as a fan was stupidly on the edge of my seat.
ALSO....SHIRRLLEYYYY (Schurrle!!) Stunning play, great pace and enthusiasm exactly what you need in these matches. NO FEAR!!
Guys, guys, guys... We all know the match everybody wants is Chelsea vs. Barcelona

I like the guy but he doesn't need a back-up, he needs a replacement. Tonight was actually one of his good games where he at least only didn't score. I don't know the numbers but I would be surprised if he had a passes complete rate higher than 15% in the first leg and he is not playing better in Bundesliga. When Hofmann came on for him he never was a quality drop off and some times even an improvement.
Well i'm not so sure. He had a great game today and if he scored one (or even twice) he would be the hero and get a really high scoring for this game. He has to stay cool, they have to take some pressure from him. He arrived and everyone was like "Hey this guy better replace our 40 million Götze and be even better" Right... I hope they have a nice preperation for the next season. If they can get Micky in his "zone" and feel good, hes 100% the man we need
What we need is to not be so wasteful with our scoring chances. I don't know if Mhki is the man for that job.
Well yeah that aswell haha. Well rememmber Lewandowski in his first season, Micky is a killer compared to that. The problem is, Micky doesnt have 1 or 2 more years. They are CL regulars and want to challange Bayern for the national league title. You cant give players years to develope their skills
Watching some after-game analysis, Hummels won 89% of his tackles wtf
It's really not about skills but about mentality with Mikhi. His first year is far from brilliant I guess he himself if his biggest critic. If today doesn't break him and he can get some rest during the summer with the core of the team hopefully staying the same bar Lewa he can lead us to anything next year.
Remember the first leg against Malaga last year? We had that guy called Mario Götze who fucked up so badly time and time again. If it wasn't for two crazy minutes of overtime in the second leg we could've talked about him the same way.
I hope Jojic will become a regular next season. That guy...
Thats basicly a 100% what i said earlier, i agree. Micky has it all but he wont score. But even to develop the mentality, he doesnt have the time, BVB doesnt have the time. I think Klopp is going to work with him on that and if he gets his groove going, we are going far next year (specially if people like Kuba, Subotic etc are coming back. I dont think Gündogan is going to stay tbh, hes probably gone and if he is doing so, hes using the "götze way" of suddenly saying goodbye, which is a huge dickmove)
I don´t get why "BVB doesnt have the time". I think it is quite the opposite. No one is expecting anything from Dortmund in Bundesliga besides making the CL. Right now Bayern is just too deep roster wise, has too much money and the best coach on the planet to have an off year. The next window for that will be in 2 or 3 years when they have to replace Lahm, Schweinsteiger, Rib/Rob. Dortmund can be like Liverpool in the 00 years, no big deal in the league but with a roster and playstyle that can be very dangerous in CL.
I am really disappointed from PSG and even more from Real. Both played "not to lose" and from Real, which were my favorites to win CL, i expect more than a super close 3:2 against Dortmund with a trillion injuries. I mean Manuel Friedrich was unemployed 6 months ago and the supposedly best offense in the world cant score against that guy in 90 minutes?

Yeah, without Ronaldo Real just don't turn up it seems. Not taking anything away from Dortmund last night but with a fit Ronaldo i see them scoring once. Also the game turns on the penalty? It goes in, 4-0, Dortmund need 5 gg? Instead Reus turns into Ronaldo and makes a game of it! Shame about the shocking miss, but that is football for you! At least Klopp won't get angry in his post match interview now

x win y-y on Aggregate and Advance to the Semi Finals!
Team News Diego Costa limped off 30 minutes into the first leg with a thigh problem; the forward is included in Atleti's matchday squad but Arda Turan misses out with a groin complaint. Javi Manquillo is poised for a comeback after four weeks out with a neck injury.
Team News Víctor Valdés is sidelined for the season after tearing knee ligaments and Gerard Piqué suffered a hip fissure in the first leg. Carles Puyol is in Barça's squad despite not yet getting the all-clear to play following a knee issue. Andrés Iniesta is poised to make his 500th appearance for the club.
[big][big]x win y-y on Aggregate and Advance to the Semi Finals!
Team News Bastian Schweinsteiger and Javi Martínez are suspended. Thiago Alcántara is expected to be missing with a knee complaint until the end of April. Diego Contento suffered a foot injury before the first leg while Xherdan Shaqiri went off at half-time in Augsburg with a torn muscle in his right thigh.
Second-choice goalkeeper Tom Starke sustained an elbow problem in training on Friday and will be sidelined for the rest of the season. Third-choice Lucas Raeder is also injured, so 19-year-old Leopold Zingerle, normally the reserve keeper for the Under-23s in the fourth-tier Regionalliga, will be on the bench against United.
Team News Rooney sat out the Newcastle match having suffered a toe injury in the first leg and Ashley Young had to be replaced after 18 minutes on Saturday having torn ligaments in his hand; both trained on Tuesday, unlike Rafael and Marouane Fellaini. Robin van Persie is absent until the end of April with the left knee injury sustained in the 3-0 victory over Olympiacos FC last month.

He always reminds me of Quentin Tarantino. Common sense says you shouldn't like him but he is just too awesome not to.
There are times I dislike him, like when he called Wenger a specialist in failure, but I do love having him in the premier league. He creates story lines for every team and he is very polarizing. I like how comfortable he is being the "bad guy".
Also stuff like this wouldn't be possible with anyone else:
Damn I'm so disappointed, but I guess it makes sense. The worse is how Cavani complained in the press about wanting to play as #9 and now that Ibra is hurt and he had is chance to do so, did not perform well. We obviously need more experience and more high-level games in order to be able to compete in the ro4... wp Chelsea.

shame I couldnt watch it, Dortmund creates the best games!
and if Neuer gets hurt, Bayern will field a U21 team second goalie
I think tonight is going be even better than last nights games (Of course personally nothing beats Chelsea game :D). I think Yanited could very well upset the Germans and i would not put it passed them. Also Barca vs Atletico for me is a 50-50 call as of now. If the mighty Barcelona turn up it could be easily over by half time, but if they are not 100% they could easily get booted out by Simeone's side.
My predictions;
Bayern 1-1 Yanited - Bayern Win 5-4 on Penalties Atletico 1-0 Barcelona - Atletico Win 2-1 on Aggregate.

I don't think anything can beat yesterday's games since everyone thought both ties are already over
