Only 4/11!!! Players that were there to beat Real last time will be there. Injuries and poaching has just massacred that team it's incredible. I really hope they give a respectable showing versus Real. They are the rare example that have built an elite team in this day and age without have unlimited finances. Yeah, just saw this picture (the team that played Real last year): ![[image loading]](http://i.imgur.com/7Z9EMsz.jpg) Players in Bundesliga seem to have no sense of loyalty at all, everybody want to join BM. About the QFs, I actually started with some hope for MU since Im a fan but after what happen last Tuesday, I'm sure that MU will be crushed, its a good thing cause after that I seriously hope the team would then get rid of David Moyes. Other match: PSG< Chelsea Real> Dortmund Barca> Atletico Heart: Atletico > Barca (cant stand the way they get to the top, too much controversial decisions from the referees especially in last el Clasico, the only good thing I would think about Barca is that they will be the reason why more technology will be applied to help the referee)
???
The idea that anyone in professional soccer has any sense of loyalty to a club is laughable.
Very, very few players ignore the pull of big money/big names in the soccer world.

double while I agree that there are instances where barcelona has had referee help (but really, only the cl semi vs chelsea was out of the ordinary for top teams), the last clasico if anything had real madrid as the benefactor.. they got an undoubtably wrong penalty given for them and two soft but prolly legitimate ones against.

The only reason people think Barça always get the favorable decisions is because of a game that happened (for sake of argument) 2000 years ago against Chelsea. Same thing with notorable divers 5 years ago or whatever, they'll never lose the reputation.
They get just as much favorable as unfavorable decisions. To think otherwise is conspiracy thinking. If they get an unfavorable decision against them in the next important match, it's still not just or a good thing, same with teams that have gotten the worse end of the stick lately. The only ones you can blame are the grandpa's at the top who refuse to invest a little bit in technology.

Always swings and roundabouts in football. Home team advantage is the only one i think of that exists because referee's are only humans. They hear the crowd go crazy over a bog standard tackle and give a yellow card for it. See a guy go down in the box and give a penalty even though it isn't one etcetc.

Aww, I wanted to watch man.u bayern, sad lyfe.

There is no point to watch Yanited vs B.Munih. Yanited's midfield is hilariously bad and I will be surprised if they have more than 30% possession.

The midfield will not be the problem. ManU will park the bus anyway because even moyes has to see that there is no way to match Bayern offensively without Mata and Van Persie. A way bigger problem is the lack of speed on the inside. Bayern will just constantly attack Vidic/Ferdinand/Jones with speed cutting from the outside with Ribery, Robben, Götze and Alaba and i am not seeing them stopping that consistently over 180 minutes. Also the only one what i have seen this far on ManUtds side who can build up a offensive game from a deep position is Ryan Giggs. He is one of my personal favorites but the dude is 40 years old and cant play 90 minutes in a run intensive game.
I think the best chance for ManU is to try what Mainz05 did in their first Bundesliga game this season, a 5-2-2-1 with all three Jones, Vidic and Ferdinand It looks kinda like this: + Show Spoiler + It allows the inside CB´s to roam more freely and compensates a bit the lack of speed. Also it is harder to overload the sides or isolate Robben/Ribery/Götze in 1v1 situations. Mainz did an amazing job in the first half of that game, Bayern had no scoring chance in the first 45 minutes. Unfortunately for them Guardiola subbed Götze for Mandzukic, changed a couple of things and Bayern won 4:1 but it was a cool concept.
