2 things in football get on my nerves, EPL and Classico -_-.

You should try watching the EPL. It is ridiculously entertaining.

Just noticed that PSG and Bordeaux are playing for the Champions Trophy (league champion vs cup winner) on Sunday, so that's the first real test for PSG.
They should be even better than last season. I wonder if anyone in Ligue 1 can compete with PSG this season, I doubt Monaco can.

EPL feels more "even" to me. and also, it's more accessible lol...

i sometimes watch, like every other leagues, when there's a good derby, i love it, but i'm not entertained by the hype around it, when every player is overhyped like shit and there's tons of talks about meaningless things. I saw it in France when all those average players travelled to Newcastle and suddenly became stars. That was difficult for me to see thoses guys in northern england believe so hard in our average players coming from average clubs in average Ligue 1... I don't know what they expected... I can't think of a french player in EPL not being overrated, so i believe all the ligue is like that, full of overrated players. And for the moment all the players coming from EPL to France were disapointing: Kalou, Joe Cole, Barton, Beckham. Average players, all of them, any of them deserving his salary.

Erm...Kalou, Joe Cole, Beckham, average players? I think the correct term is "past their prime"... they were not average a few years ago. Can't say much about Barton, never liked hot headed players.

I don't think anyone can compete for the moment, Moncao in 1 or 2 years might be able to, but everything is possible in football.
btw PSG is slightly overrated to: Lucas, Lavezzi, Pastore, VDW. I don't know if you can win a champion's league with them, these players are too hyped. Thiago Motta is here to balance it, one of the best midfielder of his generation, he is the king at Paris, when he's here the team is transformed. He is the real boss.

I don't think you can compare like this. Most English players never leave the British Isle, and even if they leave Spain would be the most likely destination. Besides, there hasn't been a "spectacular" transfer that the French League have made from the BPL, so it's really hard to judge.

Kalou 26 and joe cole 29 when they signed in France. This is the perfect age for a footballer imo. Thay came as stars and trust me they were disapointing. But i will agree they are a little bit more than average.

The perfect age for a footballer varies. Look at Michael Owen for example, or Van Persie.

Kalou and Joe Cole had a couple of good seasons, but were never really noteworthy from then on.

Well im sorry but El Classico is the biggest game of the year football wise (in domestic leagues across THE WORLD) due to the stars on show and how good the football is. The game is ALWAYS worth watching just to see the huge stars on show etc. Neymar Messi Ronaldo Bale and others will be in this years i mean DAMN thats going be awesome!
Always open games which helps to, not like a Man Utd vs Chelsea where it will be pretty defensive ^_^

Michael Owen is a bad example, the injuries ruined him

This is always the same story, a young footballer do nice things, there is many hopes in him, a bright future is predicted, but while growing he doesn't progress that much and he just becomes a solid player.

Yeah i mean Owen should of been the best striker England have ever had in terms of goal scoring and being the fox in a box. But sure as hell the Scousers fucked him up, overplayed the fuck out of him at a young age and thus helped kill him off due to his injuries. He is the one striker who just knew exactly where to be and where the net was. Sublime stuff, nothing will beat World Cup 98 for me, watching him there as an 8year old i was back then :333 watching him do all that crazy stuff was awesome.

The tragedy of owen He was actually the player I modeled my own playstyle after when I was a kid, funny enough this included the injuries.

While we are on topic.. How can I watch PL games live when I am not in the UK?

Norwich played with 1 Forward and 6 defenders all season, the 3 games they didn't they beat Swansea 4-3, Man city 3-2 and 4-0 against someone in the 2nd last game of the season.... Howson and Johnson weren't allowed to pass the half way line and we basically relied on Snodgrasses mediocre free kicks.... Wth you on about...
Ok i think i understand, but still Hughton hates to attack so i don't see them being very aggressive going forward.
