lol, those cartoons are hilarious! love the balotelli one. and have also witnessed it first hand.
during my national service, we had a live grenade exercise. this dude, literally pulled the pin and threw it WITH THE SAFETY LEVER instead of the grenade. Good thing the quick thinking safety officer grabbed it out of his hand and thew it over the safety wall LOL....
Just under a month till the transfer window ends. I'd like to see a new striker in chelsea, and a solid defender if possible And can't wait for the new season to start already. dammit, i want my weekly EPL fix!

So it has already begun...
the period of me shouting 'we should have bought BONYYYYYY' at every available circumstance. He would have been killer in Chelsea

Ideal would either be Rooney Lukaku Ba or Bony Lukaku Ba. Torres I just reckon we should flog him off sorry to say...

he will be in my DT too for sure
He's a pure goalscorer so is Michu, they could do some damage.
I'm also excited to see how Norwich do with Van Wolfswinkel, Hooper and Fer. Could be exciting, there might be good points for fantasy teams there.

Bayern midfielder Emre Can signs with Leverkusen for an undisclosed fee, with Bayern having a buyback clause.
Figured that this would happen with all those midfielders that Bayern have. Wonder if Hojbjerg will get the same treatment in a year or two.

Don't forget Andreas Cornelius of Cardiff. He scored 18 goals in the Danish Superliga last year and he's only twenty.

The Norwich thing is crazy, signed all these awesome attacking talents yet they were getting beat 4s and 5s last season so...i can see them becomming blackpool this season. When they played so offensively yet lost 5-2 or more.

To be fair though, they weren't that bad and also Leroy Fer is like Fellaini so not entirely attacking talents have been hired?

I think it would be nice to make an EPL 2013/2014 thread apart from the football thread. Then we could talk about other european leagues.

I agree but EPL is so popular that more than 50% of the discussions are about EPL, i often come here to see what does the global community think about general football and i always find what English commnuty think about EPL. This league is so huge it's vampirising the thread.

more and more Japanese players seem to get into PL, wow :o

More Japanese players in general, the remnants of all the kids that became football players after the world cup 11 years ago

well, i've seen a fair amount of talk about the bundesliga and la liga.... and that is expected. as for the other leagues... well, go figure
anyone seen the latest on Wenger's thoughts? he jelly! tsktsk

Let's see what Monaco can do against Tottenham tomorrow, they looked horrible against Augsburg and Düsseldorf, but should be in better shape now.

I was curious and looked at their matches. They don't seem solid for the moment, it's a melting of excellent and average footballers, seems weird, and for the moment they are terrible defensively. BTW james rodriguez seems to be a fantastic player, and many youngs from the academy seems better than the "stars". Valere Germain looks to be a great player.
