Malaga - Atletico: Malaga has nothing to win... except for a million euro! A clause in Isco's contract says that RM will pay them 1M€ if they are champion. Enough to beat Atletico? Elche - Barcelona: Elche needs some points to stay in first division. Barcelona will have their hopes boosted by RM's draw. Celta - RM: Celta has nothing to gain... but Luis Enrique might have! They play too offensive anyway, I don't think they can steal points from RM.
Now we have: Atletico 88 Barça 85 Real 84
Real needs Atletico/Barça to not reach 90 points. Barça needs to beat Elche and draw against Atletico while hoping that RM doesn't win both their games, or win beat both Elche and Atletico. Atletico needs to beat Malaga and draw against Barcelona (if Barcelona beats Elche).
We can still have the case of Barça-Atletico where Barça doesn't want to beat Atletico if Atletico loses or draws the next game (88-89), Barça (85-86) doesn't win and Real wins (87). We can also have a case where if Barça and Atletico draw each other, RM would be champion. It will be the case if Barça wins the next game (88), Atletico loses (88) and RM wins both their games (90 in total). Imagine Barça and Atletico, the 2 biggest rivals of RM, offering them la Liga with a draw...
edit- Nevermind, stupid comment thought i was pointing out something different but it was just semantics

This is insane. Not only the league goes down right to the very last game but it's between the two top teams, barca-atletico in camp nou. Barca winning liga, atletico winning CL and everyone's happy.

If they win la liga, they're won't be any reelection because supporters won't be really pissed. They're talking about drastically changing the team next season but if they keep the same people in the direction, I don't think anything's going to change. I'd rather lose a liga (to Atletico, not to RM :p) than waste 2 more years (before the official reelection).

I don't think losing any more titles will do any good to the higher ups thinking. The loss to bayern last year should be enough, they just don't care about the team's quality, as long as the team sells, they are happy. So, I'd take any titles I can.

I'm not confident at all in Barça vs Atlético, but it is still cool that it is possible.
Also Luis Enrique is gonna be barça's coach 99% sure, so winning/drawing vs Madrid next game would be a sweet welcome gift by him.

It totally depends on what Barça shows up. The one who played that incredible game vs Real Madrid or the one that can't even win vs decent teams.
edit: and even if Barça plays well Atletico is still a strong team.

The project "Red Bull Leipzip" could end fast. They would play in 2nd league next season but due to license problems (Logo, name, too much people from RB working in the club, too hard to get a membership) they maybe dont. They also stated that they have no interest in playing another season in 3rd or change their business model.

I wonder what counts more for AM, league or CL.
poor AM they have to fight real and barca for either title. How cruel

I would love to see Atletico lose next game, score then being 88-88-87. What would happen if Real is up 4-0 in the last 10 mins of the last game and the score between Barca and Atletico is 1-1? Throw a coin?
|
AM already played 3 times vs Barça and 4 vs Madrid this year afaik. They did fine in Liga and CL, not so much in Copa.
When teams tie I think we count the total goals scored minus the total goals conceded in Liga.

No Adlers was kinda expected, he had an abysmal season. But Zieler... I don't know... The problem is just that Germany don't have a reliable third choice gk. -.-
Durm is definitely only there for the experience. Großkreutz considered defense now is hilarious. XD I don't know Mustafi at all. :o
No Kruse? Thats surprising...

Discuss the lineup here
Sorry forgot about it. Thank you

Germany has so many good keepers. If only they had a striker as strong as their other lines.

Yeah, i didn't expect Zieler. I would have nominated ter Stegen or Leno. Durm had a really good season and imo has more potential than Schmelzer. Kevin Großkreutz is simply the best right full back after Lahm. Most of the youngster like Mustafi won't make it into the final 23. But i would have liked to see Kruse instead of Klose. Klose was injured for the better part of this campaign and had no convincing showings in the preliminary matches.

Premier League To Be 'Half English' By 2022At least 45% of Premier League players will be English by 2022 under a new target set for the game by FA chairman Greg Dyke. Mr Dyke said he wants to see at least 90 English players at starting for Premier League teams, up from the current average of 66. Of these Mr Dyke said he wanted 30 top be playing more than half of the games for top-six clubs, an increase on the current 18. The key recommendations include:- Premier League B Teams entering a new Third Division of the Football League, with promotion no higher than League One.
- Strategic loan partnerships between Premier League and Football League clubs. Each Premier LEague team could enter arrangements with two clubs, and loan them up to eight players each.
- An increase in the number of home grown players required in 25-man Premier League squads, up from eight to 13 by 2020.
- Tighter work-permit restrictions for non-EU players so that only "truly exceptional players of the highest calibre" get work permits. In addition only two could play for each Premier LEague club , a move that would drastically affects clubs like Chelsea and Manchester City.
