Holy shit, Real just failed. Now if top three of La Liga wins next match, the closing game on Camp Nou will be literally the final of the season. It's weird that Real's draw is a bad news for Atletico, as Barca in last game will play only for their own benefit, not to decide whether the title goes to Bernabeu or Vicente Calderon. | ||

Now La Liga will be crazy! Malaga - Atletico: Malaga has nothing to win... except for a million euro! A clause in Isco's contract says that RM will pay them 1M€ if they are champion. Enough to beat Atletico? Elche - Barcelona: Elche needs some points to stay in first division. Barcelona will have their hopes boosted by RM's draw. Celta - RM: Celta has nothing to gain... but Luis Enrique might have! They play too offensive anyway, I don't think they can steal points from RM. Now we have: Atletico 88 Barça 85 Real 84 Real needs Atletico/Barça to not reach 90 points. Barça needs to beat Elche and draw against Atletico while hoping that RM doesn't win both their games, or win beat both Elche and Atletico. Atletico needs to beat Malaga and draw against Barcelona (if Barcelona beats Elche). We can still have the case of Barça-Atletico where Barça doesn't want to beat Atletico if Atletico loses or draws the next game (88-89), Barça (85-86) doesn't win and Real wins (87). We can also have a case where if Barça and Atletico draw each other, RM would be champion. It will be the case if Barça wins the next game (88), Atletico loses (88) and RM wins both their games (90 in total). Imagine Barça and Atletico, the 2 biggest rivals of RM, offering them la Liga with a draw... | ||
