They just love Koreans in Augsburg, don't they?
Shit Monreal, you should have scored that one!

Monreal getting in some great attacking positions haha!

I like what I've been seeing of Flamini so far; it looks like he never left.
Wow, more Moyesey time in this game.

And Kadlec looks like a pretty good signing for Frankfurt, Hummels can't get him under control.

Losing to the arse makes me want to jump off a bridge, but overall the performance wasn't that bad. Dawson and Rose were the weak links as usual.
Also, Peter Drury really needs to shut the hell up about the spending. He mentioned it about 25 times over the 90 minutes. When Bale goes, Spurs will have a £6m transfer profit in this window. People make it seem like Levy is creating the next Man City.
+ Show Spoiler [Spurs' transfer figures] + MONEY OUT Paulinho 17m Soldado 26m Chadli 7m Capoue 9m Lamela 26m Chiriches 8.5m Eriksen 12m TOTAL: 105.5m
MONEY IN Bale 75m Parker 3m Huddlestone 5.5m Caulker 9m Dempsey 6m Modric Instalment 13m TOTAL: 111.5
That list isn't 100% accurate because some of the transfers are paid in instalments and some are paid in full, but you get the idea.

It was the first real match for Spurs after lots and lots of signings, while Arsenal have the same squad as last year. I would have been surprised to see Tottenham winning.

Lol quite the opposite of what i thought, i knew that spursr were only spending because they had the bale money, they just wanted to make sure that the Bale money wasn't in their pockets whilst they were looking. That way said club wouldn't put the price up knowing they had the money. But still, need more money spending on the back 4

The real key now is shifting Adebayor, because his wages are an insult to humanity. You can be certain that Levy is not taking any financial risks though. As much as I complained about him not buying a striker in January, he's been amazing for Spurs over the last decade.

Atletico Madrid is playing Real Sociedad right now, if anyone wants a preview of those other Spanish teams in Champions League.

I wish our TD was as good as him. That's some brilliant piece of business, puts whatever Arsenal is doing to shame.
(still Arsenal won, but that is to be expected given it's almost a new squad)

I'm still not sure if these new players can actually keep them up where the were last year or make them do better. Losing a player like Bale...you needs some outrageous quality to come in a replace that...
Do they really have what it takes? Also I am impressed by Liverpool, I thought they would suck and fail miserably without Suarez but they have been good. I still won't expect them to get into the top 4.

One of the brightest defenders korea had seen in a while before his injury. Has all the physical attributes to be a great defender. Size, speed, even ball control(played some DM and fullback). His concentration can let him down a little bit though at times, and it hasn't been very long since his injury(like few months).
