It's a FIFA thing and I read about a few times aswell for example here: http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/bundesliga/startseite/588146/artikel_das-abseits-wird-neu-ausgelegt.html Basically if the ball hits a defender and jumps to the opponent striker it wasn't offside before but it is now so the referees don't have to interprete it. Only if the defender controlled the ball again (another spot where interpretation is necessary) and "loses" it, it won't count as offside.

I always thought any league playing in UEFA has unfified laws of the game, regardless of the country. In other news, Polish side Śląsk Wrocław won very exciting two-match struggle against FC Brugge, playing Dortmund's 'chaos, agression and crazy pace of action' style of football (with lesser skill, of course). As a reward, they will face Sevilla FC, going to Andalusia on September 22. There will be probably 40 degrees there, so I guess it will end tragically... PS. Someone should sign Maxime Lestienne ASAP, that guy is way, waaaay to good for the ligue he is playing in.

And good win for Arsenal. Looks like Giroud and Ramsey are going to silence a lot of critics this season ![]()

Also what big game has Ribery played well in anyway? No doubt he playe dwell during the season but i can't remember anything to hot he did vs Dortmund. All i remember from the final was Robben playing like a god even if he did miss a few golden opportunites xD

All i remember from the final was Robben playing like a god even if he did miss a few golden opportunites xD Who assisted the decisive Robben goal, with a nice touch ? see it yourself: And who initiated the first goal with a superb pass to Robben (who btw nearly ruined this genius stroke) If Germany is the country of engineers, Ribery would be the well oiled machine, where the chief engineer Heynckes purposely took out the Power off button !! That's how unstoppable Ribery is ![]() But of course even a machine can't compare with an midget-alien, when he decides to show up in important matches...
