Frank Lebouf the ex Chelsea CB was one of our greatest ever penalty takers (For Chelsea - behind Lamps ofc) he went a season of 9/10 pens scored was pretty sick xD | ||

Sporting Kansas City announced today the club has acquired Colombian midfielder Jimmy Medranda on loan from Deportivo Pereira and U.S. defender Brendan Ruiz from Brazilian side Figuerense. Medranda and Ruiz will be added to the roster upon receipt of their P-1 Visas and International Transfer Certificates. Medranda will occupy an international spot on Sporting KC’s roster. Yeah, that was some nice distribution to set up that goal for Bayern. Edit: Arsenal loan Ignasi Miquel to Leicester. Surely this means we are signing a CB/RB? No way Wenger would go the first few months of the season with just Mertesacker, Koscielny, and Sagna at CB. | ||

Perhaps it's the quality of competition they get in that area. Or perhaps it's down to the fact that they lack the physical diversity and with their homogenous society they lack other types of diversity (of culture, of race) to prepare the guys for the differences that await them on the international stage. Interesting though. Maybe it's down to the scouting and selection processes that go on in that country...looking for the wrong things. They have said that is the problem going on in Africa at the moment. | ||
