What a frustrating loss this must be to Reading. Keeper mistake. Obvious offside. Late finisher. I felt like they deserved a point, but football can be a cruel mistress. A bit of luck for the Blues this time around.

Damn game was a beast, great for chelsea :D

No way should Cole have been subbed off, what a ridiculous idea. Although he could be exhorted to focus a bit more on defending.

Excatly i sad it earlier. We don't need attacking full backs no more. In the way we play they HAVE TO TUCK IN, and help out defending vs counter attacks. Mata Hazard Torres Rambo(whoever on right) and Lamps are more than capable of unlocking a defense without leaving ourselves open at the back. Obviously there is times when they can push on, but it is not needed no more.

True, 100% agree. Occasionally it is great for Cole to get forward because he can easily take the opponent off guard with some of his runs and especially when the opponent is defending like a bitch, but yeah he needs to be focused on tucking in especially in the tighter games this season. Also, Hazard is really already looking like a total boss. Seems he has not been perturbed by the move to the higher quality league, even after teams try to hack at him and bring some rough play. Will be interesting to see how he fares against Newcastle and then other big teams. The Chelsea midfield looks like it will be extremely competitive in the coming campaign.

Was wondering about this but just saw that unfortunately some new channel that like no one gets (only dish people) bought the rights for La Liga and Serie A so none of that on TV here this season (and they also bought all the US away world cup qualifying games except for vs. Mexico too).
