Most season, it is just two teams (United+someone else), but I think the point is that it's not just the same two teams EVERY SINGLE SEASON. In just the Premier League era alone, there have been title challenges from smaller teams like Blackburn (who even won it, one year) and Newcastle. Liverpool were up there every year until recently. Arsenal won three in seven years. Chelsea won three in seven years (including two in a row). Manchester City finally broke through to win in 2011. Next season is looking nigh unpredictable. Edit: LOL @ that Cavani transfer. They better not be offering Torres as part of the deal if they are paying that much money. in terms of variety over the past 2 decades Spain is still ahead. But Spain is going in the wrong direction whereas England is improving steadily. And its not just the top 2 at fault, although they arent exactly angels either.

Why not pair up Elm with Wernbloom. They partnership helped CSKA win the Russian league, and Wernbloom is one of those psychotic tackler bulldogs that's always been an integral part of Swedish teams. Then there's the fullbacks, who are absolutely useless, but it's not like we have much better alternatives. Maybe we could try a 3-5-2? We're not getting to the WC with this team. YES, HOLY FUCK WE ACTUALLY SCORED! Elmander with a rare goal.

Absolutely cannot fathom why Hamrén won't play Wernbloom. He's the classic Swedish central mid. Tough as nails, will run all game both to the other box and then to ours, and he's a bit psycho.

He was really promising when he was younger, but has grown into a huge bum-hole with a chip on his shoulder. Only thing I'd put him on a pitch to do is head the ball, but we have other players that can attribute to much more. Absolutely cannot fathom why Hamrén won't play Wernbloom. Toivonen might be the biggest douchebag in the Eredivisie indeed. Oh I do hope some PL team or any team outside Holland will pick him up =[.
