If they lose to japan here... australia had that generation but now its over and there are very few talented youngsters Losing today to Japan isn't a really big problem to Australia... But I guess whether SK or Australia is #2 in Asia is debatable.

Not really a debate at all if you have watched asian football lately. and actually, australia is in big trouble if they lose today . Jordan would be most likely to get that number 2 spot in the qualifying. good luck in the playoff then and right now, korea and japan are way ahead of the pack in asia with japan being a bit better at the moment. in fact, i'd rather take uzbekistan over australia right now

They just had bad luck this qualification. And Australia arent in trouble since they are still going to be playing Jordan at home and can easily get #2 through their own matches.

I haven't watched very many australia matches either, but i remember them being pretty lucky against japan last time around. I guess maybe not so much against the middle eastern sides. the only australian player i'd be excited about is tommy oar, but the rest of the players are aging quickly man if you're rooting for australia, good luck thought. im actually rooting for them because of our rivalry with japan. and GOAL!!! aussies!!!

If Japan had any luck in their matches they'd dominate Asia so hard... ![]()

Would it be worth going? middle eastern sides are pretty notorious for grassrolling so idk. and australia isn't at its prime like it was when it had a cahill in his prime, and other players

so pumped for the korea game that's on today. We have so much talent but the manager prefers to use old and notorious big moment chokers. sigh... wouldn't be surprised if he left son heung min on the bench today like he did last game

I hope Mou doesn't get him, he is much too good :D Klopp instantly fell in love with him when Donezk played vs Dortmund.

Nah, it's just that all the Chelsea love in this thread makes me want to see Chelsea crash and burn next season ![]() And I believe Fernandinho is an underrated player of the type that can really give a top team the edge over the opponents in modern football: a very energetic defensive midfielder, who is nonetheless quite capable to help out offensively.
